Text Update
🕑 Added 2021-07-06 05:28:30 +0000 UTCI've investigated the glitches that were happening in the snapchat system and have figured out the cause, so those problems are all fixed up. I've just got to fix up some broken animations before posting a build update.
Now that the snapchat system is fixed, its actually really flexible and lets me do almost anything I want in terms of branching paths, so that should be a lot of fun. I might also allow patrons to start from whatever point in the sequence they choose, and even choose their relationship stats from the get go. You could also change the speed at which you receive messages at any time. These features would definitely break the game, but for patrons, they'd save you from having to wait through scenes you've seen already, and let you see whatever you want at will. You can of course play normally as well.
Also, now that the gameplay has been implemented, I'm bringing back the picnic scene at the start of the game. This means the game will have a much slower build up of tension before any s*x scenes happen, but I find it a lot more emotionally potent. This version of the story goes hand in hand with the gameplay of racing to rescue her: it gives more time to save her before the monster gets his way, but it also it forces bad players to slowly watch your relationship fall apart, and watch her fall into his clutches due to your slowness and poor choices.
And also, more importantly, it gives time for you to make vital choices early on which affect your relationship with the princess. Either way, she will be going off with the monster, but your choices during the picnic scene determine whether she gets kidnapped, gets tricked into going with him, or if she just goes off with him willingly.

So is this update supposed to end when beast gets to the picnic? it keeps finishing every time when he gets there

Ah yes. There are still 4 endings, but I've changed the way they work, because you can't get min stats for both Love and Purity before the princess leaves the picnic She can only go that low while she's already in his castle. I'll drop a diagram of how it works at some point, but its major spoilers for the whole game.

I think the fourth one was that she straight invites him into her own place, but I would understand if having to redo all the backgrounds for that would be too much work due to time constraints. Either way it all sounds great! Congrats on breaking 600 bucks man

Thanks, I've been spending a lot more time on it because the increase in patrons meant I was able to take some time off. With enough patrons I might not have to go back to work for many weeks.
