Kimmy looks like she's regained most of her mental faculties so it's possible the implication is that they just have to live with their new bodies at this point. Maybe turning back into "present giving" reindeer during the holiday season or something similar.

the rough for page 12 seems to show quite a few bugles, should be interesting to learn if that's simply from the amount of holiday cheer stuffed into them or an indication of a few presents that will need to be delivered later :) -Should also be interesting to see how much of their grey matter comes back online with the shift back, and whether they will shift all the way back or just stay at some halfway point
