Important Changes Are Coming!

First things first, I must apologize for the lack of activity and updates, definitively 2020 hasnt started as I expected but this post isnt about complaints, is about changes.
Ill try to be as schematic and concise as possible to avoid any confusion that can be caused by my poor English ?
Also, we want to thanks to all the people who left their thoughts on the survey.
Clarification
We said on a past post: "There are various reasons for these changes being the most important ones: You-know-who Terms, some legal stuff and $$$." And I want to clarify that You-know-who Terms and legal stuff are different stuff not related between them.
Change 1 - Versus X Studio and Waifustream
This is a change that we tried to make some time ago with no success and now is back again but this time will totally happen.
What does this mean?
First, our Art Patreon has evolved to Waifustream.
Second, Omnia In Unum (all its sub-projects) and other short projects (like Midnight Assault, Lewd Fighter, etc.) will be moved onto Waifustreams patreon.
Third, VXS Patreon (this patreon) will be for horror related projects. This means, Bioasshard, Punished Mai and the sub-projects from both of them.
If you are of one of those interested in all our projects, dont worry, because sooner or later all the projects will be released for free. And also, were preparing and third way of supporting our projects (outside Patreon) in which you will find all our projects and content (including art and even some SFW stuff). This will take a bit but it will be launched someday ^^U
Change 2 No more early access
Someone contacted us and told us that to avoid problems its better to not get any benefit from Bioasshard and that the Early Access can be seen as getting profit from it so, to avoid problems were going to have to forget about the early access on the project releases from now on. Links will be posted on our blog on day one for everyone.
We know that this is a very loved feature but we consider it a bit unfair. I really hate to see you-know-who playing the releases day one while other people, that are supporting the projects, have to wait for days and even weeks.
This will affect the Fantasy Card System:
- 1-No cards will be public.
- 2-The cards will maintain its early access.
Change 3 Tiers and Rewards
Tiers and Rewards will suffer some changes as well:
1-Pigeon Tier will disappear
Dont panic!
Were NOT going to delete it and force you to increase your pledge. But every time someone delete his/her pledge were going to update the limit number for Pigeon Patrons trying to avoid that more people pledge on this tier.
2-We're going to create a 5$ tier.
3-Were going to create a couple of special tiers with some special rewards.
4-Rewards will be updated too. Mostly to reflect the changes (especially the early access one) and the presence of the Fantasy Card System.
5-And probably the in-game credits will be back as well.
6-There will be more art content about the projects from now on.

Note: This list is for all our stuff not only for VXS projects.
Bioasshard Arena Update
Im working on fixing the Fatal Error as I previously mentioned. The main optimization part is done and Im in the process of testing it. But its hard to test something you cant reproduce. Anyway, if everything goes fine, well be making a release in the next few days with JUST this fix.
As you can see for the changes, no more early access will be in place for our projects (even if this next release I talk about would release for everyone as its just a bug-fix release). This will probably have its impact. But please, keep something in mind, even if our games are free and cant feature early access, we cant make them without your support, so please think carefully if youre going to stop the support because of the early access.
Youll be seeing the changes happening in the upcoming days.
And I think thats all for now.

Yeah, we're going to do that as well. That's basically the "third way of supporting..." mentioned in the post. We're working to get it ready soon. Thanks ^^

as long as bioasshard is still getting make im good to go, but like i mentioned before you really should make a subscribestar page for these games as well cas you can never go wrong with a back up incase shit hits the fan

Hahaha, I guess we should have made clearer who this "someone" was. I explained a bit better in the comment above who contacted us but it's a matter of not wanting to give names you know. It's not someone trolling us xD And as we also mentioned, the other reason for this change is to avoid being targeted by the TOS of this platform. As you can see, our other projects remain the same because they're not affected by this problems. Love you too <3 Thanks for your support!

Oh boy, it's not that hard to read ain't it? I'll try to explain everything a bit better: *Early access don't cause legal issues to anyone and that's not what we meant. The problem with our project is the IP we're basing our work on... That can be seen as getting money out of it and it's out of the "fair use" thing. *"Mysterious someone"... I thought we wouldn't have to explain who are we reffering to. As well as we didn't want to mention that this was the only chance we could take: this or the beloved C&D... Do we really need to mention who this "mysterious someone" is? *Another reason for this change it's because apart from the previous point, we can be targeted at any time by this very same platform due to the content the game has. So, do we really need to mention who "you-know-who" is as well? Here in this platform we're onyl tied to one's TOS, so it's just a matter of thinking a bit. *Where the hell did we mention we're removing the Pigeon tier? We said "Pigeon Tier will dissapear..." and THEN there's more text explaining it quite clearly. It won't be removed for people already pledging in, but for new ones. *"In Game Extra Content ++" Ok, this one is really good, because it clearly states "Game" where we already mentioned countless times that the Arena is NOT the game and even then, there's already extra content in it. The problem is just that we don't only make Bioasshard, but other projects as well, and the released one Punished Mai already has it's "In Game Extra Content ++". *The same goes for te gameplay FAQs and Walkthroughs, completed projects already have their own. *We're never going to force anyone to spend any qty of money so that's just up to you, but, as I said, you were a Pigeon so you didn't have to spend $5 but $1 but anyway I don't have anything to say on that. *Bioasshard was always meant to be a free game, mainly because of the IP thing I already mentioned, so it's not something we're making now. What changed is the early access. I hope this clears things up a bit for you and everyone that reads this comment.

You guys know i love your Project´s most of it Bioasshard and i freely support the games that you create, but honestly im not really sure if this Person who told you so can be taken seriously. I mean the whole reason of Patreon is support a creator with an amount of money and get some benefits from it something as early access every other creator is doing the same thing and if people want to pay you this money it´s their own free will to do so. if you really just worried about people who raise their tier on the release date you can simply use a filter that you have to be at least a fox tier for example for a month. then this wouldn´t look like your in for quick money, but even that doesn´t matter because people do it on their own will so no one can cause you trouble for it. That would have an impact on pretty much every creator on Patreon. But that´s just my opinon. I will support your worker further on because i want to and i want to see this game happen, but don´t let yourself being trolled by someone. at least look if there are some hard facts about this what he told you. How could early access to Bioasshard cause "legal issues" when pretty much every video-game project on Patreon works like that? We subscribe to a reward tier, we pay our monthly fee, we get access to Alpha/Beta releases of the game. All that because a mysterious "someone" has told you so? And you're going to remove the $1 tier and create new ones starting at $5? I've pledged to the $30 Fox tier previously : it wasn't worth the money, at all. The "In Game Extra Content ++" I was hoping for? Starveling. The "Access to the official gameplay FAQs / Walkthroughs" I was excited about? Nowhere to be seen. Yet I've digged deeply into both the Patreon page and the blog to find anything that was related to the listed "Extras" and make these $30 worth spending. And if the "Walkthroughs" weren't ready or still a work in progress themselves, then don't list them as if they were already available. I'm not going to spend $5 (plus taxes) just to unlock 3 Fantasy Cards for the only video-game amongst all your projects that caught my interest. You better make that $5 tier (and higher) somehow interesting now that Bioasshard will become free. All that because of a mysterious "Someone" and "You-know-who" (as if everyone knew "who" it was).
