Before a thread went up on F95, this project was abandoned or, at the very least, put aside for a long time. But since the thread was finally published, and people seemed to like the project, I’m going to try to bring Rumi back to life.
The main problem right now is transferring animations from Maya to Blender. If I want to get anything done and stay sane, this has to be finished. At the moment, I’ve already completed about 40% of the animations. I’ve also updated Rumi’s model since it was already in the work prior to the abandonment of the project.
I hope I can release a small update at the end of the month to show that the project is still alive, but please don’t expect too much.

So, would you ever consider making a game to be played from a first-person perspective? I think that would be a good plan in its own way.

Unfortunately, no. For certain reasons, I can't keep the old model, but I can tweak the new one

I think it makes the original version of the character more attractive. I think it would be good to leave the existing model as is and add various types of interaction.
