What's new since the 1.0 release?
Reputation:
People will now remember you. Depending on your performance you may gain (or lose) reputation. Reputation is limited from -100 to 100 and starts at 0. A positive reputation will increase the money you gain and grant a chance to be approached by a customer even when not wearing the courtesans necklace while a negative reputation will reduce payment and give a chance to not be approached even when wearing the necklace.
Skyrim is a big country, though, and people from far away cities do not talk to one another much. So every hold will track your reputation individually. Being a renowned prostitute in Whiterun doesn't mean the people of Solitude know who you are after all.
Licensing:
Prostitution can now be licensed. When you have a license prostitution is fully legal. Meaning guards will not interrupt you even when you are doing the deed in the middle of the market place.
Where's the catch, though? First you have to get the license. And holds will want their share of the profit. The exact tax depends on the hold in question. And because of that you can still perform unlicensed jobs even after obtaining your license. More risk but more reward.
In addition customers now have a chance to decline when offered an unlicensed job. After all they don't want to be caught breaking the law either. The chance to accept an unlicensed job starts low, but increases with your reputation. (if you don't like this mechanic you can set it back to 100% in the MCM)
License quests:
In order to start the quests all you have to do is pick up the courtesans necklace. If you already have it in your inventory just drop in on the ground and pick it back up again.
If you should ever not know how to progress in a quest just read the journal entry. It should tell you all you need to know.
Most holds have their own unique-ish quest to give you a little bit of variety on your way to become Skyrims most renowned prostitute.
Update 1.1a:
- minor spelling fixes
- the approach handler now excludes the last three actors that approached you from the random selection so that you can no longer be approached by the same actor multiple times in a row
- added a courtesans ring and courtesans circlet that can be worn alternatively to the courtesans necklace (wearing multiple items will not increase your chances of approach)
Why do you have to wear an item at all? Because the mod is designed with immersion in mind.
- you can now enchant the courtesans items without losing their approach functionality
- tried to fix the nipple sucking task showing up for male clients, this was never intended as there is no animation for that (tried as in it's kind of hard to test whether or not a random event occurs, so if you still get the task from a male client let me know)
Still working on further bug fixes / QoL improvements.

I didn't want to tie it into an arousal framework because most arousal frameworks for OStim have been rather short lived. I'm still waiting on whether or not the current one will really stick. "Likes getting their nipples sucked" should be female only. I have no idea why it shows up for male clients and debugging it is kind of driving me nuts at this point. :^( I won't make a UI myself because Skyrim UIs are written in Flash and I don't know Flash and I have no interest in learning Flash since it's a dead language. Yeah I agree a custom UI would look better. But I won't be the one creating it. Both the spanking animations from the SL mega pack and the one that comes with OStim will work for the Windhelm quest. I cannot guarantee that third party animations are properly tagged/annotated. But I didn't want to hold back on complexity just to accommodate for poor tagging. I did make sure though that all tasks are completable with just the vanilla animations. (except for the buggy nipple sucking one)

Great work, but allow me to give my observations and what I'd like to see in this mod. I'll start with notifying you of some bugs: - You can get paid without even completing any tasks. I started a scene and pressed . and I still got paid 74 gold for it. - Same person can approach you multiple times. I'm playing with immersive spell learning, so I spend quite some time in taverns, and prostitution is a side hustle while I'm learning. I got approach by the same guy thrice is a span of 10 minutes. I do not know how the approach is calculated but it would be nice if it was attached to some arousal framework, so only aroused people can approach you. Also allows NPC manipulation for approaching you by using different mods and spells that have arousal increasing methods. - Minor grammar issues, for example with the license quests, there was one with optain license instead of obtain, also would be nice if obtain started with capital O (just looks nicer) Next up are the tasks. I got quite a few "likes nipples getting sucked" tasks. I got 26k animations for OStim (according to pandora), but none of them have "female sucking male nipples". If I may suggest, add to requirements what animations packs are needed to complete the tasks, or perhaps if even possible, make tasks availability according to what animation packs you have installed. UI. I read somewhere that you are not going to make a UI, that's cool, not necessary, but it just looks more pleasant. Task acceptance and all that UI's aren't necessary, but the task descriptions sure could use a UI, as reading simple plain text, without even gaps between sentences looks pure shit. The Courtesan's Necklace shouldn't take up the amulet slot, may I suggest perhaps some signet on clothing or something. I can easily change the slots and models with xEdit, attach whatever model I want from whatever mod I want, but would be nice if it was "official". This mod has so much potential, all it needs is some polishing and bug fixing and it'll be great. But as of now, the only advantage this mod has over OProstitution is that you aren't bound to sitting in one place, as you have an equipable item instead of dropping a lantern and sitting until someone shows up. This mod gives great mobility and different playstyle opportunities compared to OProstitution. Wish you luck with development and looking forward to future releases! EDIT: During Windhelm license quests, the steward wants to spank me. Well guess what, none of billy's spanking animations are working, neither lovemaking compendium ones. Doing just the creampie task doesn't complete the quest, so the license is unoptainable.

I'll have to look into that when I got the time. Do you get the "added X gold" message twice or are you just getting double the amount of money you should be getting?

Hi there. I'm enjoying the mod but in my testing found that, for some reason, I am being paid twice for every encounter. Any ideas?

It shouldn't conflict but they won't consider each others reputation, licenses, etc.

The tagging system in OStim is rather complex and setting up a menu that allows you to modify the tags of scenes is even more complex. The OStim Profession is the first mod to really make use of the tags beyond "start an animation tagged as X". So before that you didn't really notice poor tagging as an end user. Maybe animation pack authors will start to improve their tagging when the system is more broadly used by other addons.

Hi, thanks for the continued updates on this mod. I would "like" really enjoy the mod but it's nearly unplayable for me.. the reason is the animation tagging. The mod is just a try and error for me and this is sadly not really fun to hit the correct animation every time. And it would be cool if my PC can approach an client. Maybe is it possible like the alignment.json from OSTIM SA do some player overrides on the tagging for the current animation based on the OSTIM Profession Mod ? I think this is more an OSTIM improvement. Just an option field for the tagging and choose the proper tag for the current animation. This would help make this mod a success.
