In this illustration, I wanted to create something in my comfort zone. I love painting clouds since I find it super therapeutic and relaxing! What are some of your favourite things to paint?
This started because I wanted to take a break from working on this larger piece. I was frustrated with the piece so I opened a new canvas and I just kept painting clouds which resulted in this! I took a nice long break and relaxed after which was quite nice since I often overwork myself to the point where I would forget to take breaks for days.
I guess you could say this piece is quite personal since I've struggled with burnouts and now I'm slowly getting better at reminding myself to take breaks! I am also guilty of taking breaks by doing another drawing WHICH I DO NOT ADVISE YOU TO DO 😅

Hi Sally! Thank you so much! I mostly used the textured brush which is a brush I made I made (I'll have it available soon hopefully this week! :) ) But this piece was mostly created in Photoshop, so I used Charlie Bowater's brushes https://gumroad.com/charliebowater#BoiJD
