🕑 Added 2024-09-30 05:03:58 +0000 UTCItβs been a rough month and slow on the art side, mostly due to being horrifically understaffed at work and having really inconsistent energy and motivation for art at home. But I do have a bunch of stuff sketched and did complete some work this month, so October will hopefully look a lot better. That said, hereβs what I did finish along with some WiPs as an appetizer c:

Something I definitely need to improve on is giving updates sooner, so you guys know what's going on and aren't sitting in the dark all month long. I am glad I at least had something to show and it wasn't a totally empty month.

Life happens. It happens. Something that helps (that I am, hypocritically, also amazingly bad at) is communication of those issues. If not to your community (via a status update, using the community chat tab or setting up a discord server), then in the DMs with your friends. People are so forgiving when they have context, and, even if they donβt have tangible solutions, they will have emotional ones. It really can help to open up about what youβre going through, if only just to have someone validate how youβre feeling. Like I said, I am, hypocritically, VERY bad at reaching out when Iβm in a bad spot. Partially because of shame, and partially because I believe I can grind fast/hard enough to make up for it before anyone notices (they always do). So, yeh, pot calling the kettle black, but I hope it helps. As for the art, this is awesome stuff! Loving Cori, and loving how much your world is fleshing out AND how youβre integrating animal traits into your characters to make them more distinct! Canβt wait to see what you do with them! Also, Iβm loving these sequences youβre setting up with Jade (first the auto drone mishap, then consentacles and now this). Its very easy to fall into the rut of βmore restraints, different gags,β but I love how you add new context with every image. Would love to see more, especially with Nikira (also loving her new dog ears) All in all, love the new stuff, but also community status updates and chats arenβt bad, and reach out to your friends if you donβt feel comfortable sharing with the community. Hope things pick up, and see you next month! (Unless you respond to this by the end of today)

These are some beautiful sketches. Said before but that cleave gag is *so* gorgeous. Love the look of Cori! You don't have to apologise for the slow month. These things happen and I hope that at least your workload is more lighter now!
