First one for all the same reasons lifted above! Much more serious and intimate. The second feels more relaxed and quiet. Definitely like an anime lunch scene.

I think the second one helps keep the focus on the charatcers. The first one is a bit distracting with the colours.

I like both. The first has a serious vibe of ending. Like something big happened and they are about to start a new chapter/beginning. The second one is has a more relaxed/emotional feel like one of them has something heavy baring them down and the other comes to cheer them up. Does that make sense?
