Hey Jazzzz! I’m sooooo sorry ! I didn’t see this comment before! It’s pretty late but I’ll answer anyway: The first time I designed those two, they weren’t suppose to be witch and wizard. Lorena was alone in the concept, so I decided to add a dude that could look like the opposite of her. They had so much chemistry , that I had to do something with them. To give an excuse for the bunny hat, I turned her into a witch. And yes, coincidentally Ruan looks like her “ Black Cat “ 🤭. About her powers, I prefer to leave it to the animation to explain 😁✨

When first designing these characters did you originally design Ruan as a compliment to Lorena? Sort as of the “Black Cat” to the witch? Also last question, what is Lorena’s ability? If Ruan’s is to absorb negative energy is Lo’s possibly to expel positive energy? This could both explain the plants growing and the blasts as a sort of “overload” of energy with the rabbit constructs when using abilities as a sort of representation of the energy.
