I’ve been in contact with a professional voice actor for a while now, working on some tests. Most of the scenes I’ve animated so far have focused primarily on expressions, which was enough for me up until now. But it reached a point where I really want to hear their voices. So, I took action to move things forward. I’m still selecting the best scene for the dubbing. Probably this one, or even 'The Day We Met.' I can’t share the details yet. And yes, it will be dubbed in Brazilian Portuguese, as it’s my first language and feels most natural to me.
And I apologize for not translating the subtitles into English. This is like the script for the voice actor (there was an audio with my voice as a guide, but I’ll spare you from that). So, let me summarize: Ruan laughs at Lorena, and she gets frustrated because he’s not taking the situation seriously. Then, he tries to tell her that the struggle Ruan is going through right now doesn’t concern her. But at the same time, he wants to say something more, hesitates, and then gives up. He simply says goodbye at the end.

Thank you ! The voice acting is still in a testing phase. I reached out to a well-known Brazilian actor who had interacted with my posts before, but he’s been really busy lately, so that might not move forward for now. Right now I’m focusing on the story and testing things in my native language. The kiss scene and “The Day We Met” are definitely my main focus at the moment. And yes, I totally see the Daredevil vibes in Ruan now haha

1. Animation looks great. Can’t wait to see it completed 2. The writing leaves me wanting more in the best way possible. I’m always asking “And then what happens?” with most of this story so far and that’s a great thing.

Take all of these with a grain of salt as I’m basing some of these from a friend of mine who grew up near a dialect of Spanish similar to Portuguese, and Fernanda’s summary. R- Ruan L - Lorena R: (Chuckles) L: “Ai… You’re difficult sometimes, you know that?” R: (Kisses softly) “Lorena. Listen to me… This is not your fight” R: “Nevertheless…ah…forget it.” R: “Take care, bunny”

My thoughts: I see you have made a lot of progress in your animations, to move onto the next big step. Thats awesome 😎 👏 Bravo, Fern 😘 👏 I’m curious. Is it a single VA for now, in the test phase? Do they have an online portfolio or Social Media? Did they contact you first or was it the other way around? Also, since you have been working on a script, have you been working on just these two scenes: this one and “The Day We Met”? I imagine you’re working on getting the audio/lines down and it’s been all in your natural languages. Plus, not to mention, the tests you’re doing in the meantime. No rush on an English dub, mi amor 🌹 . It’s better to hear the natural dubbing. I’m a huge supporter of that 🫡 Translations would help, but I can understand it fine SOOOO…Keep going 👍 I would ask if you had an audio sample of your voice as the guide, but if you’re too shy ☺️ or embarrassed how we’ll react to hearing your voice for the first time…I get it, no worries 😂. Also, why is Ruan giving me Matt Murdock/ Daredevil vibes 😆??? I can’t be the only one thinking that with this kiss 🥵 ☝️
