In the distance, you can already see the standards proudly marching towards you. You can already hear the horns and drums of war. What indomitable force may try to conquer this fortress ? What unseen horrors may descend from the sky, with talons sharp and fires bright ? Only one way to know for sure ! Stand firm !
These rooftops were made for a fortress-prison where the souls of the prisoners were kept for untold purposes by the jailors. This map can be used for any castle roofs to suit your needs !

Thank you ! I needed some roofs for a fortress that my players were supposed to held alongside the local army. This fortress was a prison for political prisoners in the middle of the lake. The battle started on the roofs and then expanded to the whole place. The Hall of chains map you guys saw a couple of weeks ago was for the final battle. They managed to force the ennemy archmage to flee, missing lethal by an inch. It's a adventure I'm writing for a 2+ years campaign. They're currently level 7 ! I may publish some chapters as standalone adventures in the future though. :)

Very cool! I love the various styles in this post and the next one wit darker tones. Was this keep inspired by a place in a published adventure (official or homebrew)? Or you were just inspired?
