🕑 Added 2023-01-20 12:45:52 +0000 UTCI know I said it'd take a week or two for the next Act to be complete, but I ended up getting dragged along. It's not often the story does that, so... I decided to go with the flow. Act XIV is now content complete on the development branch. I'll push it to Beta branch, and do a set of non-steam mirrors, once I see that nothing else is wrong.
With that the stage is set for the pivotal Act of Book 3, The Return.
But first, it's Act XIV+ time, which returns to Edinburgh, to reunite with old friends, get drunk in the Crowley, and see a lady about a pair of shoes.

Glad you're enjoying it. I was planning to take my time with that chunk, but once I started writing it, I couldn't stop. I had a similar thing happen with the end of Book 2, and the opening of Book 3... sometimes the characters just won't let me rest.

Just finished playing through the new act, Nice work, especially the end bit. The way the characters feel come through very clearly, and I know that's not easy.
