JOCKED UP I: STORYLINE

It was the last soccer game of the season. The tension was at an all time high at Pendelton college. This championship was different, it was personal. Pendelton had lost in every collegiate sport for years and people were starting to side eye the only coach on campus: Coach Brockman. Coach Brockman used to be an all-time champion in his college years, he was good at every sport he played, not to mention his rugged good looks and solid physique.. Every chick in college wanted to date him, and every guy wanted to be him, that was probably the main reason as to why he stayed in the small and conservative town of Pendelton. In that small town where nothing exciting ever happened, Brockman was the main attraction and his peers were his audience. But as the years passed and college ended people started moving on with their lives. Brockman never thought that his endless supply of women would end, but as his waist size started to grow and his good looks began to fade away, the pretty women that used to seek him became a thing of the past. Brockman would always say that he was married to sports but surprisingly, he found himself in a short marriage that just couldn’t last.. Deep down, he knew what he really wanted was not an option for a man like him. And how could that be? He had been the star of Pendelton College, a womanizer, the hunk in town. Brockman had always been head over heels for his best pal, Ethan, back in college. Ethan knew and he was open to the idea, but it was a small town and Brockman’s ego got in the way. After college Ethan got a job and left town while Brockman stayed and made collegiate sports his fulltime job.
Now at 43 he was alone, depressed and overweight, but most importantly his career was on the line. Brockman knew that college faculty were tired of him and the students were also not that eager to participate in sports if he was coaching. But even though his star players Jason and Brad gave it their all in the game, the soccer team still lost. Coach Brockman sat behind his desk waiting for the College’s principal to call him to his office at any second. He knew his days at Pendelton were counted. And, probably because of the stress, his neck was killing him! He would need to pay a visit to the local pharmacy on his way home. When arriving at the pharmacy, Brockman was greeted by an overjoyed pharmacist. Brockman had spotted the old man several times before in town and his first thoughts always were “that old man needs some meat on his bones.” After Brockman grumply asked the pharmacist for some pain relief patches the pharmacist noticed he had a short supply for those patches but, oddly enough, right beside the pain relief patches were some strange “ALPHA PATCHES.” His supplier probably mixed some orders up, the pharmacist thought. Funny enough, the pharmacist decided to get rid of the alpha patches first, since there were so many. “That coach won’t notice,” the pharmacist thought. And Brockman happily left.. Unaware of how his life was about to change, along with his flabby frame.
The next day, while on break, Brockman stood there shirtless in his office. He had just placed some patches near his neck and couldn’t help but look at himself in the mirror. “What happened to me?” he thought, as he saw his reflection. A round, swollen face that looked older than 43, thanks to the woes of life, with a patchy goatee and some tired eyes looked back. “You used to be THE man… Brock THE MAN.” he said while grabbing his large stomach and looking at his saggy man boobs. Brockman started reminiscing about his golden days, he used to love looking at himself on every reflection he walked past. He remembered his chiseled jaw, his youthful manly face covered in heavy dark stubble. His perfect smile and those heavy set of eyes that made panties drop.. But most importantly his body… What a body. A perfect chest accented with the right amount of hair sprinkled all over, a solid six pack that looked cut out of marble, meaty arms covered with veins that popped out even when resting, a nice bubble butt and those large and strong-muscled legs that gave him the edge over every other player back in college. “What happened, Brockman?” he asked himself out loud. Making note of his raspy tired voice from years of screaming from the sidefield. Brockman started feeling sweat dripping off his forehead and wondered if reminiscing about his past self was getting him hot. He could feel his body starting to accelerate, as if his veins had received a shot of energy… or testosterone. His stomach started to rumble, it wasn’t hunger... This was different. Heat started traveling through his whole body. The coach knew something was off, this was not a heat stroke, not even a heart attack. Brockman knew his body was reacting to something foreign. At first he tried to fight it as sweat covered his whole body and streamed off his overweight structure. What Brockman didn’t know was that this so-called “sweat” was actually his fat being expelled from his body at an accelerated pace. “Feels like I’m BURNING! AAHHHH” Brockman squealed, as the fat kept rapidly melting off his face and torso….

Do I want the story to continue? The answer would be yes! Does Ethan come back into town? What happens to the two-star players? This story can go in many different directions and I am twisted enough to like them all.

Thanks Ralph!! I also find it fun to write sort of a background since sometimes you can't really draw every aspect of the story into the actual animation. Coach Brockman is sort of like the main character from jocked up, since he was the first to get big and beefy. Let me know if you'd like this story to continue! I'm always up to write some more =D

I really enjoyed the background, it was quite entertaining. It is a shame that you will not turn this into a full story. All of the stories do not have to be there, just enough to make the illustrations come "alive" for the readers. Some might just "feel" the same surges.
