A thought just occurred to me. . . . Could this area in the wilderness be in the same general geographic location as the home of _____ ? 1. The Lumber Jacks camp with the "weird" fruit. 2. The lake with the "magical water". 3. The area of the country with "prolific" meteor showers. It also seems to be a prime location for meteor showers.

So who's to say that the "large humanoid" is not the same being. Perception is a point of view of someone new to the location. We, as the viewer, don't the location but can sermize where it could be. Considered wilderness mountainous terrain could it be in the Northwest of the USA? It could also be in the Appalachian mountains in the Eastern US. Having been raised in the rural area of Eastern US, where your nearest neighbor is miles away, I know that cell phone technology can be (and is) somewhat "iffy". It takes the absence of tech for a person to realize what they have not seen, even though it has been in front of you all along. The son has relied on "tech" far too long. Hopefully "Father" has some "wilderness training". Maybe he was a boy scout when he was younger. He definitely didn't have any military survival training.

You're a great story teller Alan! Now curious how your story proceeds n.n! Scene 3 is similar to a scene in "It came from outer space" near the end where Mr. Miyamoto is telling his experience of encountering a "large humanoid" figure aka big foot lol

Ok???.....this look like scene ll of a 4 Act story. Scene l - Father takes his "tech savy" son out to the great outdoors to bond with him. Scene II - "Events" conspire against the Father stranding them in the middle of the wilderness. Scene III - A short distance away a "shadowy figure" is observing the conversation. At that very moment the full moon comes out from behind a thick cloud and back lite the "large humanoid".... Scene lV - let the bonding begine ;-)
