Mostly likey but Brendan has a Legendary that is capable of Mega evolution now. And 2 more pokemon on his team as well that are capable of it. But Marshtomp, Grovyle, and Shelgon are the prime candidates that will get Mega stones first. Grovyle with his new speed will become a menace and that's not taking into consideration his Dragon typing once he Mega evolves.

As a side note, I fully wonder if the three pokemon called out for the challenge (Grovyle, Marshtomp, and Shelgon) were *specifically* called out because those are the ones that are about to receive Mega Stones. Thematically it makes sense.

100% worth the wait we've had, VERY happy to still be subbed here. That was excellent! Finally the Grovyle/Sceptile payoff and it was SO worth it! Excellent fight, great emotion behind it, can't wait to see the PHO/Public reaction to ExtremeSpeed Sceptile swordsmaster of doom.

You are approaching that golden space artists can only reach when they've taken natural talent and honed it through dedicated practice. Reading through your current material and your earlier work is like night and day; and the difference is never more noticeable than during these action scenes. So many authors seem to struggle with hitting that sweet spot between fast-paced, gripping action, and clear, concise visuals. I can't begin to count the number of fights in a story that the details become muddied. I read along, trying to picture things, but instead of getting lost in the action I just seem to end up confused, asking myself questions like "Wait, when did they run inside there?" or "Wait, who just got punched?". Most action scenes lose momentum because of this, and become frustrating nonsense that readers like myself eventually skip over, resigned to skim reading until the plot picks back up again. You couldn't be more different. Your wording is so careful and exact that I felt like I was watching a movie reel in my head as I was reading. I always understood what was happening and felt on the edge of my seat through all of it. The way you smoothly transitioned from gripping action to Grovyle's inner monologue was as effortless as a leaf drifting down the stream. It was such a seemless transition that there it didn't feel like an interruption to the fight at all, but just another layer. You added depth to a heart-pounding moment that was so real and so vital. I found myself cheering along with the characters, gasping at the evolution sequences, racing through the blow by blows, desperate to know who won. What a remarkable author you've become. Thank you for such an amazing fight scene and such an awesome chapter. It was such a joy to read, not just because of the story you're telling, but the way you're telling it.
