Bathed in the soft glow of floating candlelight and moonbeams filtering through the high, arched windows, Dumbledore sat in his now-repaired office. The heavy claw-footed oak desk and chairs were back to how they used to be and some of the trinkets were repaired and placed in their rightful places on his desk and on the shelves. Even the portraits of past Hogwarts headmasters were murmuring in hushed voices or gently snoring from the rightful places on the walls, some shifting slightly in their frames as they observed the occupants of the room.
Stacks of parchment, aged tomes, and quills lay scattered, hinting at the day’s work left unfinished. Fawkes, his trusty phoenix, was perched serenely on his stand, occasionally ruffling his feathers before slowly settling into sleep. With a weary sigh, Dumbledore rested his head in his hand, causing his half-moon spectacles to slide slightly down his nose. He had spent the better part of his life correcting mistakes, yet the weight of failure had never felt heavier than it did now.
Across from him, Nicolas and Perenelle Flamel sat in one of the office’s cushioned chairs, leisurely sipping a cup of tea as his aged yet sharp eyes watched the headmaster with mild amusement.
“Stop sulking, youngster,” Nicolas said, setting his teacup down with a soft clink while breathing in the scent of aged parchment, wax, and faint traces of lemon drops lingering in the air before continuing. “The smell of your failure may be strong in this room, but if you wish to make amends, then get back to finding the snake. It’s the only way the boy will forgive you — if only a little, and redeem yourself.”
Beside Nicolas, Perenelle, ever the gentle but firm voice of reason, lightly tapped her husband’s shoulder as she added, “The fact that the boy didn’t kill you outright is already a good sign.” She stirred her tea absentmindedly with an unreadable expression. “It means he does not see you as an irredeemable failure — one that must be removed permanently to make the world a better place.”
Dumbledore let out another slow sigh and shook his head, his long fingers tracing the rim of his own untouched teacup. The constant mention of his failure did little to assuage his current emotions. “I have made so many mistakes in my life…” His voice was quiet, almost fragile. “But the fact that I wielded the Elder Wand — the most powerful wand in existence — and still failed…not even in a contest of power either.” He closed his eyes for a moment before looking at the Flamels. “What does that say about me?”
Nicolas snorted as his lined face broke into an amused smirk. “It says you’re not a Dark Lord, for one.” He leaned back in his chair. “You may have made mistakes, Albus, but at least you didn’t let power consume you, nor did you try to rule the world simply because you could.” He paused, tilting his head in thought before adding. “Well, at least not as an adult anyway. Thinking like that as a kid without actually acting isn’t that bad.”
Perenelle sent her husband a withering stare that went ignored before turning to Dumbledore and nodding, with a knowing smile gracing her lips. “And you are more than just a wizard who throws around powerful spells, Albus. You are a teacher, a politician — a leader. There is value in that.” She exchanged a glance with her husband once more before continuing, “Nicolas is an alchemist and teacher — he helps the world in his own way. You help in yours. You didn’t need the wand to begin with, darling.”
Nicolas took the thought further. “There are many ways to make the world a better place,” he said, tapping his fingers against his teacup. “Just as there are many ways to mess it up. Mistakes are inevitable, but what matters is how you move forward. The child clearly took the wand to teach you a lesson and nothing else — it doesn’t seem like he himself needs it anyway. This is your chance to change your mindset, be more proactive, and if that’s not possible — find a replacement who can.” He smirked at his student. “You are getting old, after all.”
Before Dumbledore could respond, a new voice cut through the air, drawing all their attention and cutting the whispers of the portraits.
“The child was right.”
The three turned toward the source of the remark — Phineas Nigellus Black’s portrait, focusing firmly on the living mages’ conversation. Phineas smirked as he adjusted his elegant robes. “You should have destroyed that soul long ago, you were warned,” he said with a pointed look. “You also should have asked the boy for help with the piece inside the Potter boy’s scar. Something you were advised to do also. Your problem, Dumbledore, as you are already aware, is that you trust yourself far too much and respect others far too little.”
A tense silence followed, with Nickolas tilting his head in thought before giving the portrait an agreeing nod and going back to his tea. Without a word, Dumbledore lifted his new — or rather, original wand — and flicked it toward Phineas’s portrait and sent a silencing charm. The smug wizard didn’t bother speaking, knowing he would not be heard. So he instead fixed up his sharp attire and went still, knowing the job was done, and by Dumbledore’s reaction — it was done well.
Satisfied with the silence, Dumbledore exhaled deeply and leaned back in his chair with an expression once again clouded with regret. And, just as before, he sighed sadly to himself.
“You’re worrying too much, Albus,” Nicholas said, letting out a soft chuckle as he took another sip of his tea before setting the cup back down. “We’ve been over this. We’ll be meeting the boy soon enough anyway. And we’ll be living with him in Littletree Castle, keeping a close eye on things in person like previously discussed. I even checked with the Dwarves to ask if we could move in early until he’s back — they weren’t against it. Granted we won’t be able to enter the Castle without his permission, but we can stay in the village near it.”
Perenelle Flamel tilted her head slightly with a thoughtful expression. “Now that we’ve confirmed that the boy is a Seer — and more importantly, definitely more against Riddle on the level of Potter — are we going to change our approach?”
Nicolas hummed as he started stroking his beard. “No real reason to. Aside from dropping more subtle hints on ways to improve the world for the better.” His lips twitched in amusement. “Maybe something like the Book of Administration only writes names of those with a certain level of magical power and how some of them go under the radar due to missing the minimum requirements by just a small amount.”
Perenelle’s lips curled into a knowing smile as she swirled her tea. “That could push him to improve on the spell-work behind the book - provided he is allowed to tamper with it, yes… or perhaps even create his own school altogether.”
Nicolas chuckled at the thought. “Probably the latter. If his methods of obtaining Lordship or improving the banking system are anything to go by, he’d rather start from scratch than try to fix something he finds inefficient. ‘Might even focus more on mentioning something like parents turning down invitations of magical study — a university of sorts, for when those children can make their own decisions as adults.”
Perenelle took a slow sip of her tea before adding, “And the constant interactions he’ll have while trying to accomplish those things will only be better for everyone’s conscience. It’ll ensure he doesn’t go too far against the current status quo — at least not in a way that leads to physical harm.”
Nicolas snorted, shaking his head. “Not that we’d stand much of a chance anyway.” He glanced at Dumbledore with an amused smirk. “I mean, you lost to him even when you had the Death Stick in your possession. And he didn’t even have his own wand in hand.”
Dumbledore groaned as he buried his head further into his head and sagged his shoulders, visibly recoiling as Nicolas’ words struck a nerve.
“Nicky!” Perenelle chastised, giving him a warning glance that was thankfully enough to make him momentarily focus on getting another sip of his tea. She then turned back to Dumbledore to do some damage control. “What Nick means to say is that we should focus on nurturing his growth into adulthood like we did originally but do it better this time. That includes listening better to advice given, rather than trying to control everything on your own.”
Nicolas leaned back in his chair, amusement dancing in his deceptively young eyes. “For all we know, the boy is out there right now, making another new friend — like he did the Dwarves — and making their lives better too.” He smirked. “And honestly, there’s nothing wrong with changing the status quo — as long as it’s for the better. You yourself have done much of that in the ministry for Muggle-borns and such, if only a little.”
Dumbledore was silent for a long moment before he blinked, then sighed again, rubbing his temples. “I suppose there is some consolation in recent events, if there is someone wise enough to notice it. And maybe the new friends he is making will be of great help against Tom. It’s not like he could possibly be getting up to anything more outrageous than a Dwarf uprising, or obtaining the Elder Wand in just a few days before he starts his apprenticeship with you is it? So we shouldn’t worry about him for now.”

Well, what kind of older brother would I be if I didn’t grant my little brother his requests? If only he didn’t piss me off toward the end — and I was already in a poor mood at that point too. So, matching his petty behaviour, I went in a slightly different direction. Instead of all black, I’d be going for more primarily white robes with black accents. And while I was at it, I might as well go big.

With how much I had seen them used as multi-purpose armour and clothes in Marvel, I thought it would be classified as the same, but I suppose it made sense. Symbiotes were an actual living species after all. With this purchase though, I only had the armour/clothes and weapon discounts remaining.
Willing my armour to provide my bare hand, the armour pieces started to shift and fold in on itself, showing my forearm. The moment I pulled it from the [Hoard], the liquid-like organism seamlessly latched onto me, slithering over my hand and bonding to me with a chilling efficiency that sent a slight shiver through my body. As the symbiote integrated into my system, Cortana appeared in a small pixy-like holographic projection in front of me.
“Boss,” she said, a little worried, “I’m picking up significant biological changes in your body caused by that white substance.”
I remained still as the symbiote spread, merging with my nervous system, and enhancing my senses. He flexed his fingers, feeling the strange yet familiar connection. Unlike any other symbiote I could have just picked up, I allowed it to seamlessly connect to my mind without any fuss, knowing full well it would never betray me due to the purchase being through the system. “Nothing to worry about,” I said calmly. “Just a symbiote I obtained recently.”
Cortana’s eyes narrowed slightly in her holographic form. “A symbiote?” she echoed.
“It's a creature that lives within its host while providing a variety of enhancements and abilities. Like enhanced physical capabilities, healing etcetera.” I smirked as I felt the bond finalised. “Don’t worry. It's completely loyal to me. Just let it do its work but record the level of enhancements it provides for later study.”
“Yes boss, will do.” She nodded, simmering back out of sight.
With that, I made my armour encase my arm again and willed the Anti-Venom to shift, reshaping the outer layer of my attire. The white and black substance transformed, seamlessly replacing my surcoat as it was placed in the [Hoard]. Within seconds, I was clad in pristine white Jedi robes with black accents, draping elegantly over my armour down to just below my knees, along with a belt and light-sabre clip. I clenched and unclenched my fists, adjusting to the remaining part of the symbiote still in my body enhancing my physical capabilities.
Satisfied, I activated the flight and camouflage function of the armour, flying off through Naboo’s sky toward Theed completely invisible to the naked eye and computer sensors, ignoring the increasing giddiness I could feel from the Force. “Cortana,” I said mid-flight. “Connect to Theed’s systems. Get me everything—current galactic happenings, historical events, and an updated star map.”
The capital of Naboo was honestly a breath-taking city with elegant architecture, cascading waterfalls, and lush gardens, giving off classical beauty with natural harmonious vibes just from first sight. The city’s cream-coloured stone buildings, golden-domed Royal Palace far off in the distance, and ornate bridges easily reflected Theed’s peace-loving and artistic culture. Not that any of that was going to be of any help around twenty-four hours from now.
“Already on it, boss,” Cortana replied inside my helmet, keeping me updated in real-time on the side of my HUD as she weaves through layers of encryption with little resistance. “I’ll have a full data compilation ready for your review later.”
I didn’t respond as my focus shifted toward a disturbance in the Force — a small flicker of fear that was coming from an alleyway below. Even just booking in that direction had the Force dancing around me.
“Behave,” I muttered, and the Force seemed to listen as it mellowed down a bit, though I could still feel it was still happy as I descended silently. Nearing the source of the disturbance, my enhanced vision easily picked up a shady-looking man standing intimidatingly before a hooded girl with a blaster casually aimed directly at her.
“Just hand over all your credits, nice and easy.” The man growled with a rough and impatient voice, looking her up and down. “'Aint no way you wearing clothes that expensive ‘round ‘ere without having a big load of credits for shoppin’ or whatever.”
I chose that moment to disengage cloaking, startling them both with my armoured, Jedi robe-wearing form. The would-be thief, seemingly acting on pure instinct, immediately fired his blaster in my direction with surprisingly good accuracy for a novice, leading me to believe he might be a guard, bounty hunter or ex-soldier. Regardless, I didn’t flinch.
With a casual raise of my hand, I absorbed the blaster bolt using [Tutaminis], the energy dissipating harmlessly into the force field over my palm. Before the thief could react, I waved the same hand, sending out a controlled [Force Push] that slammed the man against the alley wall with a dull thud. He collapsed to the ground, groaning in pain as his blaster harmlessly clattered against the cobblestone floor.
Turning toward Padme, I sensed her get her fear under control while she pulled her hood back slightly, revealing youthful facial features that were a mix between the comics and the movies. Her brown eyes studied me with a mixture of surprise and awe, looking back and forth between the unconscious man and myself.
“You’re rather far from the palace, Queen Amidala,” I remarked, though with my voice being modulated to sound deep and baritone, it sounded more like a short armoured man had come to save a young fourteen-year-old queen after finding her in danger. I was more confused as to why she was even in this alley without any guards nearby to begin with, but that would have to be a question for later.
Padmé took a moment, studying my appearance further — easily noting my white Jedi robes, the armour underneath, and the now silent and unmoving thief lying off to the side. Finally, she composed herself, shifting her expression to one of gratitude.
“Thank you for saving me, Master Jedi,” she said as she inclined her head respectfully.
“Not a Jedi,” I corrected, walking over to the unconscious thief and assessing the man for a moment. Reaching down, I picked the blaster up off the floor, inspecting it briefly before tucking it into the [Hoard]. With a simple wave of my hand, I used the Force to lift the man into a sitting position against the alley wall. Lifting my other hand for show, I conjured a blanket and draped it over the unconscious man to keep him warm until he woke.
Then I remembered how jealous my wand gets when I don’t use it for long periods of time, so I summoned it — along with the Enchanted wand holster — out of the [Hoard] and onto my left wrist. I could immediately feel the wand happy to be of service once again, which brought a small smile to my face. Once again, the Force got giddy and started dancing around my wrist which went ignored for now. Satisfied, I turned to Padmé.
“Why didn’t you use the blaster you were hiding under your cloak?” I asked calmly.
Padmé’s eyes widened slightly at my perceptiveness before she quickly composed herself. “I was looking for a peaceful solution first,” she said almost defensively. I stared at the naive fourteen-year-old royal in disbelief, wondering why in the Force's name a group of people would elect to make her their ruler at such a young age. After a few seconds of silence, I lightly shook my head and turned away, walking out of the strangely clean and well-designed alley.
“Your planet will be invaded soon,” I stated over my shoulder in a matter-of-fact tone. “A blockade is coming. Primarily droid-controlled ships and droid infantrymen. You have about a day or so to prepare.”
Padmé’s eyes widened in shock before she hurried to walk beside me, taking one last sorrowful look at the unconscious man soundly asleep against the wall. “What?” she asked, slightly above a whisper as she leaned in to make sure only I could hear, looking around frantically for any potential listeners. “Who would dare attack Naboo? And why? And how did you know I was the queen?”
I didn’t hesitate. “I saw images of the leader behind it.” I glanced at her briefly before looking ahead again and continuing on our way toward the Palace. “Nute Gunray. The Trade Federation is behind this. Possibly a Sith behind them as well.”
Padmé shook her head with a mix of skepticism and concern flashing across her features, not backing down. “That doesn’t make sense Master Jedi.” She frowned. “There are laws in the Galactic Senate that prevent such brazen actions. If the Federation has grievances, negotiations can always be conducted to resolve them.”
I sighed, but there was no frustration in my voice, having already expected things to go in this direction. “Your planet’s current forces won’t be enough as they are now without taking pre-emptive action.” I paused, letting it sink in. “I would advise—”
But before I could say more, Padmé firmly cut me off, “I will not lead my people into a war based solely on the words of a man I met only moments ago without any proof.”
I stopped walking. Padmé did the same, standing beside me with her chin lifted in defiance. John studied her impassively for a few long seconds, thinking about all the education she must have been put through at such a young age to be so adamant that everything could be solved with words. Granted, she wasn’t entirely wrong to not trust the words of a man she had just met, so she wasn’t entirely misguided in being wary of my words. Then, finally, I nodded.
“In that case, good luck,” I said simply, gaining a taken aback and confused look from the girl, due to seemingly giving up too easily. “I have more important things to do right now than argue with you anyway. I’ll be tending to my ship in the mountains until when I’m needed.”
Without another word, I lifted off the ground with my robes billowing as I flew toward the mountains. Leaving Padmé standing alone in the bustling streets of Theed, with other people looking at my flying form in surprise. I had Beskar to add to my shit and armour and didn't want to spend the next entire day arguing with the child.

To those who might not remember all the way back to the mirror of Erised, I had hinted to the symbiote when John looked at his reflection.
I looked for details of Dumbledore's wand and came up with nothing. Any ideas? Or was I looking in the wrong sites.

Only info un dumbledore's wand would come from Fantastic Beasts. As far as i know, it was only shown but not given the whole wand lore rundown or whatever
