A man transmigrates into the body of Blaise Zabini with a Lite Gamer System and Mile Morales' skills and abilities. Now, he just needs to stop a black widow (His mother), flaming bird (Head Master), and snake (Dark Lord) from using him as a pawn.

‘AH! Mothfortunes!’
I groaned as a searing, mind-numbing agony pulsed through my skull, jolting my body awake, with my entire body stiff with discomfort. My vision was swimming as my eyes snapped open, but the first thing I noticed, beyond the pain, was the cold stone floor beneath me, inscribed with intricate lines and symbols, pulsing faintly with a slowly dimming light.
‘Ritual circle,’ my… something in my head supplied.
My breathing was ragged, chest heaving as I clenched and unclenched my clammy hands while a wave of unfamiliar memories crashed against my consciousness like an unrelenting tide. I knew this was going to happen, the floating disembodied ball of light I met in the void said as much, but there was nothing about what I was feeling that would be considered ‘a moderate amount of pain’.
‘Fuuuck!’
I mentally cursed again as I struggled to separate my thoughts from the invading foreign sensations. I would have hoped for painless transmigration, especially considering transmigration is basically a form of reality warping, so making it painless shouldn’t be a problem. But the ball of light didn’t have a say in the matter, and apparently, much like everything else with my new situation, neither did I. Therefore, the pain. I gritted my teeth, allowing the agony to reach its pinnacle before it slowly began to dull, finally allowing me to focus.
There were now two distinct sets of memories, which was odd. I was never into the whole meditating for an hour everyday in my past life, but even I knew people shouldn’t have memories organised like how they were in my head unless a person was Sherlock Holmes or something. One set was my own from my previous life, while the other belonged to Blaise Zabini — the male Slytherin blank slate and my new body. As if answering an unspoken command, the second set of memories flared up, drawing me into a life that was not my, or rather, wasn’t mine.
Well, until now.
I saw a childhood filled with warmth. The laughter of a boy running through a small estate, tiny hands grasping at floating toys as his magic first flared to life. Then images of loss replaced happiness as Blaise’s father, vibrant and laughing one moment, was mourned the next. I saw the gentle, nurturing touch of a mother who, despite her beauty and poise, was fiercely protective of her son. I saw boy’s birthdays celebrated in opulence, lessons in wizarding etiquette, and the slow realisation that his mother was not merely a widow but a woman seeking security the best she could.
Security bought through marriage — marriages. seven, to be specific. Marriages that ended in death. Memories of new stepfathers followed. Trips, events, gifts and family secrets were shared during moments of bonding.
One after the other, his mother's husbands met their untimely demise, leaving behind fortunes and whispers. Each time, she grieved, but the story repeated itself. At first, it was for survival and the betterment of her and her son, until it seemed to become just about her going up the ladder. Even now, she was sorting Lord Selwyn — a man so old it wouldn't require an investigation if he were to croak any minute now.
And old-Blaise? He learned to navigate the expectations of high society, to be cautious of attachments, to wear a mask of detachment and aloofness that made him seem indifferent to the world to all except those who knew him well.
Then came Hogwarts.
The memories shifted, speeding through the 2 years of lessons, friendships, and rivalries. They were simple, mostly full of either studying, a Slytherin’s careful approach to forming alliances while maintaining an aloof demeanour, and helping the golden trio from time to time. Only little things, like a comment about which books to find Flamel’s information when he heard Hermione talking about it in passing — though she saw it as a big deal because I was a Slytherin and somehow not a Pureblood supremacist like Malfoy.
Then came the Chamber of Secrets, the attack on students, and a frustrated Hermione and Suzan Bones — Blaise’e girlfriend at the time — asking if he knew who Hier of Slytherin was and what might be in the Chamber. Blaise, being the nerd that he was, had already read up on it in the past, so he told them about Hagrid while pointing out that it couldn’t have been him due to his lack of… minimum requirements, considering that he wasn’t a pureblood. He was on the way back from the Library with a magically copied page on basilisks when I was petrified — taking Hermione’s place in the books.
The memories sharpened abruptly, becoming painful as I saw myself wake weeks later to see Suzan’s lips pressed against Potter’s… in the secret room old-me had fixed up to spend quality time with her of all places. Luckily, I could disregard the heartbreak I started feeling as I went through the memories, but by the looks of it — it must have been as painful as Snape watching Lily start dating James.
Which led to the ritual. The original Blaise had sought to erase his own memories of that heartbreak, to rid himself of the torment of seeing the girl he loved cheating, but there was no such ritual. So, he decided to create his own after weeks of study. Unsurprisingly, something had gone wrong. The heartbroken dumbass had rushed an untested or verified ritual he had only spent weeks on in his second year of Hogwarts and un-alived himself, allowing me to take his place.
Shaking my head slightly, I refocused, mentally pushing aside the useless memories of teen drama, instead delving deeper into my new magical knowledge, there would be time for more memories later. The further I delved, the more the throbbing headache eased. Spells, potions, theory wand movements. While not neatly categorised by any means, everything was there.
A few minutes passed before he finally pushed himself upright, shaking off the residual stiffness in his limbs.
‘Status’, I thought, knowing I wouldn’t need to voice my thoughts to interact with the system. Good thing too, because the small manor I was in had several House Elves and paintings that may or may not be reporting to my mother.
Instantly, a translucent screen flickered into existence before my eyes.

Well, the light ball may have lied about the level of pain I would be walking into, but he wasn’t lying about the other stuff. Miles and Hearts Bane. One weapon, and one character. Like all other transmigrants. While I would have preferred a magical character that would increase my magic levels and/or knowledge, I wasn’t complaining. As for the sword… I’m still in school, what could I possibly need it fo—never mind, I attend Hogwarts of all schools, of course I’ll need it. Hopefully, it works against Dementors.
‘Wait a minute - System, did you give me Hearts Bane as some kind of gag because of the heartbreak?’ I asked mentally, only to receive silence as a response. Shame I didn’t get an AI with the system — it would have been nice to have a helper of some kind at least. Merlin knows I’ll need it in a few years.
With a light shake of my head, I left the magical sword in the [Inventory] for now, not wanting to do something that would draw much attention too early at least until I got powerful enough to defend myself. That, or I get Occlumency to a high enough level.
A strange difference in this timeline was that Hogwarts started at 16. It seemed better in my mind, seeing that wands and potentially dangerous spells weren’t just handed to children, but memories from my previous life were indicating there would be just as much recklessness involved, if not more, due to more teenage hormones.
Putting those thoughts aside for now, I scanned the floor for my wand, spotting the slim, polished length of twelve-inch hornbeam wood a few feet away. According to the wand maker who created it, the core was a thunderbird tail feather, which was considered extremely powerful, though difficult to master. They could apparently sense danger and cast curses on their own pre-emptively, which was fitting considering my character assimilation. Though, I was surprised it wasn’t something to do with acromantula.
The Hornbeam wood, on the other hand, selects a talented master for life and while highly adaptable to their owner's magic, tends to be passionate to the point of obsession. That was a good thing though, they become so personalised that other people find them extremely difficult to use as the wand absorbs its owner's personal code, regardless of what it is, and refuses to perform deeds which don’t align with their master.
That seemed like a wood the System would pick out on purpose. I wasn’t able to gain system points for evil deeds. Not that I would have — it wasn’t the type of person I was in the first place, and while I wasn’t a saint, I’m pretty sure that was why one of the minimum requirements for the system to choose me.
Crawling forward, I grasped the wand firmly, feeling my magic seamlessly match with it, before sliding it into the wand holster on my wrist.
“Kiki,” I said aloud in a smooth tone that sounded both alien and familiar to me. A soft pop echoed in the room as a three-foot-tall elf appeared in an instant, standing upright with wide-set eyes and a bright, attentive expression. His skin was a soft shade of grey, smooth, taut and free of blemishes, indicating he was on the younger side. But, from what I knew from Blaise’s memories, he was nearing a century old.
"Master Blaise calls Kiki?" The elf asked respectfully with a bow. He was dressed in a neatly cleaned but seemingly discarded pillowcase. His long ears perk upward as he stretches out of his bow, twitching slightly, while his hazel eyes momentarily scan the room before settling back to me.
"Yes. I have completed my ritual — clean the room, please," I instructed. The House Elf’s eyes widened a little before he nodded vigorously and scurried off to work. Blaise didn’t really say please or thank you to his Elf, thinking the creature was beneath him. Even the help he provided to Hermione — while he didn't actually hate muggles or muggle-borns — was purely strategic. But I could easily chalk my behaviour up to the ritual affecting some parts of my personality or the heartbreak and depression affecting my outlook on life.
With that done, I turned and walked out of the ritual circle, ensuring I didn’t step on chalk-drawn runes. After a quick glance at the jar filled with the Acromantula venom, an ingredient he thought would help dull the memories’ pain whenever he thought about them, I left the room, stepping into the dimly lit corridor.
As I walked, a few large portraits lining the hall stirred to life. A stern-looking woman and a regal-looking wizard — great-grandparents if my new memories were correct.
“Top three in your year, Blaise — almost got number one too. Well done," the witch said pridefully.
"You do our family proud, young one," the man chimed in, a regal-looking wizard in deep purple robes. “Keep up the good work.”
I inclined my head politely. "Thank you."
While I had already confirmed that my mother was using my house elf to spy on me, I was pretty sure she also used the portraits as well. It was something Blaise had allowed in order to stay on her good side otherwise he wouldn’t be inheriting any other house’s assets from her. It was a threat she had made to keep him in line and had done a good job of keeping him in line his entire teenage life.
But that wouldn’t be working for me. I already had Lordship of House Zabini along, something she had allowed on my 18th birthday, which could no longer be taken away even if she tried. And I also had access to the System to purchase galleons, gold, gems, and almost everything I ever wanted. There was nothing she could give me that I couldn’t get myself.
Continuing through the halls until I reached my bedroom, I immediately closed the door behind me before collapsing onto the mattress, taking a deep breath and once again sinking into the flood of memories.

When I awoke, the sun had set, leaving my room bathed in the cool glow of moonlight. My body felt heavy, and I was starving, but I forced myself up before casting a quick [Tempus] charm. The spell let me know it was 7:34 pm, which meant I was out for an entire day going through the memories like a fine toothcomb.
The best part was that having two sets of memories in my head and going through the second set automatically increased my level of [Occlumency] from one to two. Level one just being able to feel basic intrusions and clearing my mind, and level two being the creation and refinement of a memory palace along with an improved ability to sense intrusions and [Legilimens] defence. And on top of that, through constant use, viewing and properly sorting memories, I’ll eventually be able to increase my brain’s processing speed. It would take time, especially considering I had two sets to sort through, but it will be worth it.
Feeling the soaked sheets wet from sweat, I left the four-poster bed and went straight to the shower. After a few minutes of just therapeutically letting the water splash against and run down my body, I refocused on actually cleaning myself before stepping out and taking the first real look at myself in the mirror.
While he didn’t look the actor, Blaise was handsome, 6’3”, dark-skinned, hazel-eyed, and I could see how he was able to get a girl like Suzan despite his nerdy and introverted nature. He looked like the Mufasa voice actor that women were raving for in my past life, if only on the thinner side and with barely any noticeable facial hair. His black hair was unkempt and had clearly not been cut since his spiral, but a quick grooming spell left a low cut in its place with a crisp line-up.
Dressing in a casual but elegant black ensemble, I slid my wand back into its wrist holster and made my way downstairs to the dining hall, ignoring the now clean bed courtesy of Kiki.
My mother, Thalia Zabini, was already seated at the long, polished dining table, elegantly cutting into her meal. As one would expect of someone with a background like hers, she was attractive… objectively speaking, of course. It was obvious I got my good looks from her. She was in richly coloured robes and wearing luxurious jewellery — most of which were most likely purchased by my new stepfather, as I had never seen her wear them before.
While I would have definitely found her sexually attractive before, now on the other hand, I had integrated Blaise's memories, and the more I saw, the less attracted I became. Not even just because she was now my kind-of mother but also because she turned out to be an utter bitch.
“Top 3 is impressive,” She said, barely looking up from her food as I took my seat. “Second place, even more so.”
I arched a brow, knowing exactly where this was going, but played along like Blaise would have. "Thank you for the praise, Mother," I drawled.
Thalia didn’t even look up. "I’d be more impressed if you weren’t beaten by a muggle who has only known about magic for two years," she said coolly, finally glancing at me with her unreadable gaze. "I expect better from you. But luckily, the most important years of Hogwarts will be your fifth and seventh. So there is some reprieve, I suppose.”
Blaise would have been upset but held his tongue, not wanting to upset her and then tried to compensate in some way to get her approval. I, on the other hand, didn’t really care. But I replied evenly and honestly. "I’ll dedicate more time to studying the curriculum. It won’t happen again."
And that was the truth too. My plan was to spend so much time on [Occlumency] and studying magic and school work that I wouldn’t have to worry about Tom in future, so school was a minor hurdle at best.
Thalia hummed neutrally, returning to her meal of roast lamb as I silently filled my plate and dug in. Though my stomach grumbled with hunger, I instinctively made sure not a flicker of impatience crossed my face, like I was taught in childhood. My movements were measured and deliberate, lifting my utensils with the same care one might use to draw a wand. Each bite was taken with quiet grace as small, precise portions, were chewed thoroughly and swallowed without haste, regardless of my hunger.
I didn’t have nearly as good dining etiquette, but I wasn’t going to stop using the skills Blaise had spent years perfecting just because I didn’t want to come off as pretentious. I was a Slytherin, and behaviour like that was a rather Gryffindor thing to do.
“You’ve opened and read every piece of correspondence this summer — except those from the Bones, Potters and the Blacks.” Thalia Zabini, or rather, Selwyn, stated accusingly.
I didn’t react. Instead, I continued to serve myself a modest portion of roasted vegetables, waiting for her to get to the punch line.
“One of those letters may have been an invitation to the Potter Heir’s birthday gathering. It was yesterday, wasn’t it? Just like the last two years.”
There it was — her angle. No doubt she would have opened the letters if I would not be informed of the breach of security, courtesy of the Wards in the mail room, specifically to prevent others from reading the Lord’s letters.
With a blank expression that mirrored hers as closely as I could manage, I replied, “That was intentional.”
I wasn’t at the level of emotions with [Occlumency] yet, but I was a fully grown man with enough life experience to do somewhat well at barely showing anything in my expression. So I didn’t worry she would discern anything from slip-ups like that as I began to eat without elaborating. Calm, steady motions. Knife, fork, chew, swallow.
I won’t lie, I was enjoying the frown that was creeping onto Thalia’s face. While I didn’t know how good she was with mind magic, she was clearly good enough to use them on fully grown and debatably educated Lords of famous Houses. To force a reaction like this from her was an achievement I should be proud of.
“You’re aware that the Potters and Blacks are two of the wealthiest and most politically entrenched families in Britain,” she said calmly, though I could somehow hear the disappointment in her tone. “If you plan to get anywhere near your other potential inheritances, I would advise you to fix whatever the problem is.”
That would have worked on old Blaise, but not me.
Successfully resisting the urge to voice my thoughts, I hummed noncommittally, not dismissive, not eager, and went back to eating. My indifference lingered between us as Thalia studied me for a few more seconds before continuing. “How did your ritual go? Any side effects I should be aware of?”
I didn’t know if she got the information from the paintings or Kiki. Something I would need to rectify.
He raised a brow, pausing only to finish chewing before replying. “It worked better than expected in a sense.” I took another bite. “I wouldn’t recommend it though.”
She lifted her teacup and took a slow sip before setting it back down. “Ready your mind.”
And now comes the attempt to get my secrets under the guise of making sure I was able to protect my mind. I simply exhaled softly through my nose, set my cutlery down, and looked her directly in the eye. A benefit of the transmigration was other’s lack of ability to gain any form of information before my transmigration, the void, or the system, so I had nothing to worry about.
And even if she did get her hands on the ritual and tried it, she would only meet the same fate her son did, which wouldn’t be such a bad thing for the Wizarding world. Though, unlike her son who, according to the transmigration ball of light, was given a good afterlife, I had no doubt she would have the opposite.
The [Legilimency] intrusion was subtle at first — a slight pressure at the edge of my thoughts like fingers gently brushing books a person would like to read. Then it pressed harder, searching for anything it could grasp after the initial attempts failed. Unfortunately for her, Each try was met with a blank mind as I held firm.
A moment later, Thalia blinked and broke eye contact, but her expression didn’t change as she reached for her tea again. “You’ve finally mastered Level One Occlumency. Good.” She praised, I think. “It can take Witches and Wizards decades to reach level Two and even more than that to increase their proficiency, but don’t let that stop you from improving. It will also make sure your Level One stays at the master stage. Secrets should remain just that — secrets.”
I nodded once in acknowledgement, continuing with my food. There was no reason to tell her I was already at that level, it would do no good to let others know my secrets, even my own mother. Especially, my own mother.
“Was that what the ritual was for?” she asked. “To increase your mental abilities?”
“No.” I shook my head. She studied me again for a few seconds but didn’t press further. Glancing at her watch, a faint crease formed between her brows.
“I’ll be leaving now to continue my work,” she said, standing from the table in a fluid motion and adjusting the cuffs of her robes, giving me a final look. “You’re to study as much as possible this summer—but don’t isolate yourself. Maintain ties with at least those three old families. Or you could go with the Malfoys… but by your own words, they seem like a poor choice.”
I hummed, looking up briefly. “Goodbye, Mother.”
She gave a faint, cold nod before turning to leave the room, heading toward the Floo. Maybe it was because I had a different relationship with my own mother, but the look in her eyes showed nothing but a person who saw me a chess piece on the board to be moved a she saw fit. I much preferred a parent who wanted me to be a doctor or something, not this… whatever it was.
“Kiki,” I called out when my plate was clean, setting down my cutlery.
The house-elf appeared instantly with a small pop. “Master Blaise called for Kiki.”
“Yes,” I nodded. “I no longer want you reporting to my mother as if she’s family.” The Elf seemed confused at that but remained silent, waiting for me to continue. “I can’t be certain where her allegiances lie. Not with her ties so close to other Houses. From now on, you report only to me.”
A look of understanding crossed the Elf’s features as he nodded quickly in understanding. “Yes, Master Blaise. Of course. Kiki obeys. Kiki tells no one about Zabini's secrets to the mother of Lord.”
He was loyal to the Lord of the house, that much my memories could confirm, and unlike Dobby, wasn’t mistreated. So I had nothing to worry about… aside from a [Legiligence] attack, I suppose.
“Good,” I said with a satisfied nod, unconsciously giving the Elf’s pillowcase a look. “And we will need to commission a uniform for workers of House Zabini to wear. An employee of any sort that is tied to the house can’t be seen wearing such poor attire, it does the House no good.”

Just had to get this idea out of my head to clear up some space, you know how it is.
This character is nowhere near as OP as the PWM character, but still OP compared to most in the Potter-verse. Also, with no healing magic from the get-go, he won't suddenly be making thousands in the first few chapters and beefing with Voldy.
Hogwarts starts at 16 in this one, and High School primarily ends at that age in the UK too, so it fits well. I wanted to skip the child phase while still being in Hogwarts a while longer.
Also, be warned, this fic will show Occlumency more powerful than canon and closer to OP fanon in nature. The Potters are alive, and Black stays out of prison.

You have a frequent problem with proper use of perspective. It makes sense in a few places here where he's separating the previous Blaise from himself, but other times you shift into third person at random for just one action and it's becoming annoyingly frequent. Don't switch to He just to switch right back to I in the next sentence.
