Chuck is it possible to adjust the printer.cfg file for the klipper firmware on that SV08? I think the SV08 is a klipper printer, you might be able to fine tune the config to fix those issues. If you can do a follow up video to go over what you had to do to fix it. Maybe Solvol will learn something from you and fix it based off your changes to the config for it.

Thanks Bill. It was a very frustrating experience and Sovol made it worse with the way they handled it. I won’t be working with them anytime soon.

I don’t know of any non-bed slingers 400x400x400.

Hi Chuck - you were not the only person with issues. You have nothing to apologize about and if even you can’t make it work then there are legitimate issues. Bambu has raised expectations for initial quality and usability. Gone are the days of rebuilding a printer with replacement or improved third party components when you initially receive it before you get a decent first print. Sure you can upgrade later if you wish so there is room for aftermarket. I too am looking for a 400 x 400 min. non-bed slinger that will print like a bambu or later model Kx

Thanks for the youtube link I dont do X out of principle. Sorry the sv08 did not work out. I am looking for a printer to replace my chiron. It has seen over 300kg of mostly PETG ABS and HIPS and well all is worn out. So any ideas for a print 400x400x400 or larger - not a bed slinger with a highflow (like volcano or better) hotend, direct drive that will not break the bank and works well - at least most of the time?
