PATREON GLITCH ON MOBILE APP
🕑 Added 2024-03-07 15:18:34 +0000 UTCUPDATE: AFTER PATREON SUPPORT TOLD ME THEY WOULD LAUNCH A NEW UPDATE TO THEIR MOBILE APP THAT SHOULD FIX THE PROBLEMS MY PATRONS WERE EXPERIENCING WHEN WATCHING VIDEOS FROM THE MOBILE APP, IT SEEMED LIKE IT WAS INDEED FIXED, BUT NOW THE PROBLEMS SEEMS TO HAVE COME BACK WITH A BLACK SCREEN WHEN YOU TRY TO WATCH IT. NOT SURE WHAT TO SAY. ITS VERY FRUSTRATING. REMEMBER YOU CAN STILL WATCH IT ON A BROWSER (SAFARI, CHROME) ALSO ON YOUR MOBILE BY GOING TO WWW.PATREON.COM AND SAYING NO TO "OPEN IN APP" THE INTERFACE IS THE SAME AS IF YOU WERE ON A COMPUTER. THAT WORKS WELL. IM TALKING TO PATREON ABOUT ALL THESE GLITCHES BUT THEIR SUPPORT SERVICE IS REALLY BAD. THEY TAKE AGES TO ANSWER. IM VERY ANGRY AND FRUSTRATED BUT THATS ALL I CAN DO. SORRY.

My problem was that I paid the $12.50 for my tier and more than a week later it said I was a member, but still wasn’t able to access any videos. So I joined and paid a second time. It’s no big deal unless I get charged twice every month. If that happens, I think I get to meet our host to discuss the issue 😜😜😜😜😈😈😈

I suspect so. But Patreon doesn’t tell me. It was another user who told me the same happens to another creator also using Vimeo. I chose vimeo cause y has good privacy settings. I can embed and protect the link. Also sp far I could post anything without restrictions and use music without any copyright complain.

Since I’m a nerd, can I ask: is this a specific problem with streaming videos from Vimeo -> Patreon? I know Vimeo can be glitchy, and its cross-platform integration could use some improvement…
