First Song Blurb, First Attempt
🕑 Added 2018-09-08 11:39:30 +0000 UTC I think this is the most solid, first attempt at a blurb I've ever made - props to Outspan Foster for giving me some raw words to work with.This is a long blurb, but this is a weird story and I think it's appropriate.

It has been two years since the Shift, when most technology stopped working and the laws of physics changed. Humanity has been brought to its knees. Like others, Noah Henson has heard rumors of the Aelves. Predatory aliens seem as good as any other theory for what caused the Shift.
But for Noah, everything else takes second place to survival, sometimes even self-respect…or any sort of decency. Lawless, post-apocalypse America had forced Noah to make many difficult decisions, and he has never seemed to choose correctly. However, despite hating himself, he doesn’t have the strength or the courage to change.
He will get a lucky break in a big way, though—a mysterious orb with otherworldly power.
In time, perhaps Noah will find another path. And if he does die during the Shift, maybe it won’t be the end of his story.
Sometimes, another chance can be an opportunity for redemption.

As a suggestion: Paragraphs 2 & 3 need to be combined in some way, maybe later today I’ll make an attempt. The ideas in both are close enough to the same that there might be a way to combine them.

If you are being serious: Yes and no. Writers call them blurbs. Not all blurbs are a synopsis. If you are joking about the length: The reincarnation takes place later in the story so it needs to be spelled out
