I fell

Today I posted about it on FB because I'm in awe at how well the watch I was wearing held up. I ended up getting blood all over my clothes and my car, but the watch was like, "Ha. Wuz up?"
Anyway, the picture and the text below are what I just posted on FB. I wanted to share them here too.

Yesterday I had a pretty nasty fall while working out in the morning and I ended up going to the emergency room. Luckily, my arm wasn't broken. Yay. I just got banged up pretty bad.
What this little episode did prove was how WTF tough G-shock watches are. These are the three in my little collection.
I was wearing the Rangeman (on my hand in the pic) when I fell, and the watch hit so hard, it left a watch-shaped bruise on my wrist. There's a chip out of the wire protector I put on it, scuffs on the bezel, etc. Other that the very minor consmetic damage, it still functions perfectly.
Conclusion: CASIO G-SHOCKs have an amazing reputation and a huge following for a reason. I have finally found watches that I'm not afraid to wear.
