I would rather be able to opt into a role on Discord so I can turn it on when I want a notice and turn it off when I don't. Would also make for fewer random red 1s on discord if I could opt out by just not having the role.

You only need to deactivate notifications once! lazy!

Discord has an onboarding process that lets you pick channels and roles to opt into, but I don't know how that interacts with Patreon's auto-join

I voted "annoying" only because for some reason filtering them in gmail doesn't work, but I understand their purpose and don't really want them gone for those who do want them. Maybe do it via the new(er) Patreon community chats feature instead?

They are useful cause I do watch from time to time and yeah as JN Squire said, Picatos is unreliable

I can't catch the stream as much as I used to, but I think the notifications are useful

Thing about those is they can be annoying and people who don't want them would have to mute a channel. Maybe if there was a way to make them opt-in, though

They're useful, because the Picarto mobile app is quite unreliable
