EDIT: I will accept ANY OC or character of yours that you have not used much/in any recent capacity, it does not have to be your oldest one or from when you were a teenager. These themes aren't THAT strict you know.
0. You must post in the thread below to be eligible. Your post must follow the rules, have valid links, and your post must contain, at minimum, a complete thought. You must be okay with the finished picture being streamed and posted publicly. I reserve the right to not take a particular request for any reason. I do not check posts for validity until the first day I start the stream, so please get your request in before then and BE SURE you are actually following the rules.
0a. No, you may not privately message me a request or ask that your request be made private. You may ask me to obscure your name on the file if you want.
1. I will select about 6-12 images to draw (usually 10), and usually draw them around the last two days of this month or the first two days of next month.
2. At least three (and usually most) of these spots will be reserved for people who have not had a request answered in at least 6-8 months (was 4 months but the wait list is quite long now). Priority goes to people with the most time without a request answered. I will have a spreadsheet to help track this, but if you remember the last time you've had a request answered and you have been a continuous patron, feel free to inform me on your request.
2a. I also try to pick up some people who have never (according to my records) had requests done before, including new patrons, but this is not a guarantee.
3. Please post references for anything that's not easily searchable on google images. I'll sometimes consider text description for a single character so long as it's not overly complicated.
4. The drawings will be done to whatever degree of finishedness I find convenient at sketch time--sometimes they will be rough sketches, and occasionally (rarely) fully inked with limited color. This depends entirely on my mood and ability on sketch day.
5. Although I will try to step out of my comfort zone for several, you will have a better chance if you request something I like to draw (Check out the stuff I do for fun if you need an idea https://www.weasyl.com/submissions/rickgriffin?folderid=15100 ) This does not necessarily exclude fanart but it's certainly not something I do often.

6. Unless you state otherwise, I will assume you are okay with either SFW or NSFW. If you specifically want one, the other, or something more NSFW than my usual, you will need to specify. I am okay with depicting sexual situations for monthly sketches but I should still have some SFW works so it's not gonna be ALL NSFW.
7. Two character limit, though also keep in mind that two characters are harder to draw than one character, so I will often select one-character drawings. Any drawing that necessitates three characters or more will NOT be selected. Please check if your requests strongly implies three or more characters, if I can't interpret it to be only two characters max I won't select it.

Okay, so I just remembered that I own a 2007, shelved, jank anthro character that has GOLDEN fur from my first (thankfully never published) novel. So how about subverting a scene from it: young adult otter Lanella (see ref) walking out of a pond and carrying in her arms a nude and unconscious golden, short haired, slim anthro otter of the same age. OOO what a fun theme! I have a few characters from my early days as a furry, but this one is one of my oldest, and has not seen the light of day in a long time! I aquired this Umbreon over 11 years ago and just named them Umbreon. lol His orginal deal was a rebelious, edgy Umbreon who had piercings and who had caught pokemon of their own to battle with! The extra yellow markings are supposed to be body paint, kinda like war paint. I should had made him a shiny Umbreon tho! As a writer I have far too many characters and sadly often neglected. I would say my most underused is Lexis Rinyal. She is one of my first three characters when I was a teen. She is a white ice dragoness that needs a third rework. Her current reimaged backstory is a lost orphan ice dragonet adopted by swamp dragons. She grew up timid and shy, feeling out of place as the only ice dragon. She adores art of all sorts, but favors ice sculptures. As an adult she grew out her shy nature with the help of her wife and has a day job as a teacher of the arts at a college and a night job as an exotic dancer. If she were reimaged her shape to be lith, sleek, agil. She's not a dragon of strength, but of elegant moves and grace. She would still be herm. It still fits her well. She often uses her nice magic to spike out her mane, add spikes or decoration onto her simple tail or other parts of her body. Ice and magic are important to her and so is her dancing that she learned to love once and adult. Sorry for rambling. I just get love character and world building. SFW or NSFW is fine. Bipedal or quadrupedal is good. Feral breasts prefered. I have a Ringel sona that I've made about a year ago that I've been dying to do something with but haven't used like, at all. He's only got a single art of him and I've desperately trying to get more, so hoping that counts? Still no idea what I'm doing with his design though, so that might fit the "janky" part of the prompt. Okay, so my oldest sona is an old pony character I made over a decade ago. His name was Miller, a toymaker who grew up in a family of farmers who tried to strong-arm him into maintaining the family business. You've seen the reference image in sfw-misc on your discord. As for the reimagining, I could see him as a more conventional furry equine, with a lithe body, shaggy hair, and playing with stuffed animals. SFW or NSFW is fine, if you want to pair him with a plushie

My first ever OC was a red fox named Rally Redfern. One of those fantasy village hero types. I created him when I was in college, late teens, I think. Got 1 pic of him drawn, and haven't done anything with him since. So seeing him reimagined in your style, Maybe in a more scifi setting, would be awesome! So when I was a kid, I was OBSESSED with Lord of the Rings. My parents wouldn't allow me to watch the PG Harry Potter movies, but the PG13 and unrated Lord of the Rings movies? A-OK. Another thing I was obsessed with was Redwall - in particular the otter characters. I had an OC that was basically Aragorn but an otter. Knowing me now, he'd probably get all of his armor zapped off with magic when trying to apprehend an evil wizard.

Well my oldest oc is my fox but I do have one I used to use from 2007 for a time.
