If I were a betting man, I would say the military guys would be most likely to have a writing implement at the ready...even at the beach!
David Ewell
If this is an elaborate ruse to get Ideka to open up...
ImmortanDan
You really can't have good things without destroying them first, can you.
Vet
The only way to break through to Ideka was this….a sacrifice.
Mattis. Probably.
The fact that you only showed her foot and the horrified reactions of everyone else makes me very worried..
Muddypaws
POW! Right in the ovaries!
rodso64
Interesting how we didn't see the impact, only the aftermath.
Valerio
Plus, she just betrayed Oro's trust and endangered his position. Unless, like we say in Italy, she's got Saints in Heaven to vouch for her, this time Ideka will be arrested for good.
Jonathan
Epic!

So is all magic outlawed in this setting, or is only some magic outlawed? First issue made it seem like Ideka’s magic is outlawed, now she’s not only used it to hurt someone in front of the crowd, but the last panel suggests that the announcer of the match is not perturbed by her use of magic, or her asking for something to write another spell with. So I am mildly confused. Also here’s hoping she knows some healing magic.

Yeah, maybe a x4 multiplier was a bit much...
Taerjaga
I just noticed what might be a slight twitch from Saki's foot in the first panel. ... I do not like it.
Wilford B. Wolf
I believe this would fall under the TV Tropes category of "Gone Horribly Right"
Magitechnician
Damn girl, Saki took a bullet for you. And it was YOURS
Taerjaga
Given it just experienced ridiculous-speed and one-shot KO'd Saki...I wonder if "Wilson" survived?
Vaga the jaguar aka spice seagoat
saki is ride or die
Taerjaga
"Screw this up again"? Was something wrong with the x4 rune? Or was she simply referring to the unintended result?
Gryphoneer
well, someone's gonna get banned from the barrageball league
Taerjaga
Our plan was a success. A terrible, terrible success.
Beeton
Wow..... O.O
Monochrome Fox
Well hurting somebody you don't want to hurt is definitely a way to get your ego gut-punched...
Tiberium
Soooooo... Did she win the game?
Wilford B. Wolf
Saki's plan seems to have worked.
Andrea Andrew
She finally opened her heart. Hope she can save her lover.
