I think Ideka is a bit lucky(unlucky:p) Saki is a bit bedridden, or she’d be getting a giant bear hug with extra squeezing. Is it me or Saki is trying to show she’ll unconditionally care about Ideka? Hopefully this will start to help her heal

I had considered that. I remember going through that myself when I was young which is why I said “it may be the old setting in,” and the whole mentioning of “young love,” cause that’s how it is at that state of life. I remember it lead me to heart ache and a lot of healing needed afterwards too. Lived experience and hindsight just leads me to seeing both the positive and negative in such scenarios. Such is life.

Consider she's basically been alone her entire life, in a town full of people trying to make her be someone she's not. And now this person comes along showing empathy and actually caring for her emotions. It's not that strange she would latch on & never want to let go.

May be the old setting in, or the way my brain works (emotions buried deep in the fortress of my mind), but it feels a bit early for anyone (outside of young love as mentioned above) to have that level of attachment to someone else that quickly.

I can see that….but Ideka has a path she is on. She wants to restore her family’s name. Right the wrongs she has suffered…prove her worth. Staying with Saki stops her from continuing that path. Saki will understand that. Ideka has unfinished business.

The wall begins to crumble…..”not willing to let go.” Of Saki or the path Ideka has been walking? Ideka has a destiny….but I don’t believe it’s with Saki….Ideka’s magic is a powerful force….I believe there are those who covet that kind of power.
