Hard News On Pokesync
🕑 Added 2024-10-24 02:22:44 +0000 UTCI may need to stop writing Pokesync. I'm just not making enough money. I need another $600 a month. I have to choose something to stop to add more work hours to my schedule. Potentially get another part time job. I don't want to do it but I'm just not making it. I want to continue writing Pokesync. It's a passion project. Wants don't make money, though, and I can't make money on Pokesync like I can my other projects, so it's the hard choice. I've written consistently for over five years every week.
I try as hard as I can, but I'm just not making it anymore. Some of you know I only eat generally once a day. I've tried cutting expenses and pushing myself but it's to the point I just need to find more work if i can't make the minimum. I need to make my decision by the end of November. I'm sorry to all the fans of it if I end up having to ax it. It's not something I want to do. =(

It's a hard question for me to answer, because I just know what I like when I read it. But I think the character chemistry is usually make or break in a story for me, and pokesync is pretty good on that front. Of course you've compiled the setting into what I believe is your own creation, certainly by bringing the lore of the game and the anime together; so that you've done incredible world building at least as far as a fanfiction can go. And not to insult your other work, but it's not an Isekai or a litrpg.

While this is heartbreaking, everyone understands how difficult it's getting just to buy food right now. Power on! If I didn't have three teenagers to feed, I'd up my sub tier. But that will have to wait a little longer, I'm afraid.

This is heartbreaking to read in more than one way. Both that a story I really like may be discontinued and the way you have had to cut expenses.
