It's been an exhausting, stressful day. Our dog hurt his back again, this time worse than ever. He can't settle down, he can't sleep, he just walks around the room and cries. Leslie and I are exhausted. The vet's closed and tomorrow's Mardi Gras, so there's no way he can get help right now, and even if we could, I don't think we could afford a surgery after coming off his last vet bill. Looking up things online just tells us to make sure he gets rest, which is the one thing he seems to not want. We've had to just keep him locked in his cage and he just cries the whole time, but it's better than him hurting himself more.
Sorry for the bummer of a blog post, just letting you know what we've been dealing with lately. Hopefully just another day locked up and he'll be better. We'll let you know what happens! See you on Wednesday!

We really needed to read this kind of thing from someone who's gone through the same experience and came out the other side just fine. I'm so glad your pup made it through okay! Our dog hit his back a few months ago. It was bad. He jumped off the bed and cried so much. He wears little shirts and I had to cut it off him because it hurt to much for him to move. This was about 4 months ago. This morning when I got up he jumped right up onto bed and got comfy in my spot. He's recovered 100% and honestly i think it was about 2 weeks of stress. It will get better I promise. let your pup get plenty of rest, good foods and it will be better before you know it :)

One of the worst parts of a sick/hurt pet is them not understanding you're trying to help. Poor little guy, hopefully everything we'll be better for everyone soon! Happy Mardi Gras and have a moon-pie for me! 2 Thoughts: 1. Love that Roxanne's big breasts hang down and aren't fake always stand at full perk. Lovely attention to real world gravity. 2. I so want to believe that Seth wouldn't do anything quite as vicious as Roxanne has planned for him, but I'm very excited to see where's its going!
