Agreed, I’ve been using: Tori/ Jade = both four letters Elyse/ Renee = both have E’s as vowels/ end in E’s Rhia/ Olivia = end in A’s

His relationship with Tori specifically doesn't actually have to end with the summer. In Chapter 15 Shane asked them all what their career ambitions were, and Tori was explicit that she wanted to get involved in local journalism and theater. Rhia was less specific, but she did mention that her preference was not to go to Hollywood and hopefully not New York either. Elyse is probably a lost cause though, given that she wants to get into the tech side of movies. But all that is also further away than stated here. The girls are 20 (Shane mentioned that he didn't want to provide alcohol to minors), which means they're going into their Junior year of college; they've got the coming year of school, all of next summer, and another year of college before they graduate.
