Moving down to Mondays and Fridays

We just couldn't get the page to come out in a way we were happy with, and in doing so, realized that we just couldn't keep up with this update schedule. The mental toll has just been too much these last couple of months and we're starting to feel burnout.
We definitely tried to just push through, but our pages have gotten later and we've ended up just pushing many of them out in order to hit deadline. We haven't been happy with the pages we've put out lately...it feels like we've regressed back to Blaster Nation levels of quality. They're efficient for the most part, but they haven't been fun to draw. The point of Rock Cocks was to be wild, experimental and sexy, but it feels like we fell into complacency.
Now, please don't get me wrong. This is an "us" thing. This isn't us blaming you guys, far from it. You have been nothing but amazing and accepting and patient and kind and wonderful. This is pressure we entirely put on ourselves. We owe you all so much, and it's been a struggle for us to decide between efficiency and quality. We've settled on efficiency for so long, but now we want to focus on quality.
If you've seen Leslie's twitter lately, she's tried to make an effort to draw for fun, something she hasn't been able to bring herself to do for a while. I think she had forgotten HOW to do it, to just draw for the hell of it. And she wants to be able to bring that to Rock Cocks, to be able to take her time and make some really fun art. So I suggested we knock it down to two updates. It was really a struggle to even get to this decision, but we really do feel it's better for the comic and for us.
Thank you all so much for always sticking with us. With Leslie experimenting with her style, we'll try to post more bonus art here and on twitter to make up for the lull in updates. We'll be skipping tonight's update, but we hope the results will be more apparent once we post again this coming Monday. See you then!

Even if I'll miss the 3 updates a week schedule, it's still twice the updates per week most webcomics I follow are doing, and regardless, I'd rather have better quality than more quantity.

dude you guys are so sweet and apologetic and its nice but like it's not necessary we understand health including and especially mental health is just way more important just slow down take breaks we completely understand and there is no need to be sorry or anything go at your own pace and no faster weather that means you want to push yourself one day and take it slow another either way is fine as long as you are comfortable and happy ... a work is only as fun to read as it was to make
