Welp! Tomorrow, we’re building a roof for our porch! Or at least get the framework set up. We built a porch last summer because Louisiana housing regulations required our trailer to be like, 16 feet off the ground and we couldn’t actually access our front door otherwise. Our porch thus far has actually been more of a…platform than a proper porch. Just stairs and a wooden floor. No roof, no railings, nothing! Kinda scary, honestly. But once the roof is on, we can put build some railings! Oh man, it’s going to be nice not immediately having a bunch of water dump on us when we go out the door when it’s raining. And sitting on some chairs on our finished porch? It’s gonna be NICE. Ahh, one day we’ll get around to building a back deck~
