We had a bit of a delay, but our porch roof is halfway done! We built the framework, but we’ll have to wait until next week to put the actual roof on. But boy, it’s looking super cozy already! You can see a picture here on my twitter. I seriously can’t wait until it’s done, it’s gonna be SO nice to just put a chair out there and relax out there with Leslie and Bruce. Or at the very least, not burn our hands turning the doorknob during the summer. Or getting drenched in rain as soon as we step outside. Boy, my arms hurt.

Ah, found it right after I posted the above. Arkansas criminal statute 5-68-204. Specifically outlaws Nudism. www dot unconstitutionalarkansas dot org has a bunch of info on it, as does the Naturist Action Committee.

So I'm a bit late, but from what I remember reading AANR stuff back in the day, Arkansas is the only state in the country where Nudist / Naturist Resorts are actually illegal. Every other state, private land, you can do whatever. But in Arkansas... nope. Just one of those little odd things.

As a resident of Arkansas, I was saddened to realize this can only be fiction, as the state has weird hangups on nudism. Hot Springs and other spring towns have bath houses though 😅.
