Surprisingly busy weekend for us! We’ve been doing some landscaping, having a bunch of dirt dumped all over our yard. Our actual house is never in any danger if it floods because it’s built so high up off the ground, but our actual yard becomes an inhabitable swamp if it rains too much. The snakes and frogs might like it wet, but our dog Bruce sure doesn’t. We’re trying to level out our yard and bring in a bit higher quality dirt so it doesn’t all just turn to slush around us. We’ve definitely made progress and we can see the end in sight, but we still need a couple more truckloads of dirt. So much dirt. Never want to see dirt again.
Gotta give our dog a bath and get some fuckin' SLEEP. See you on Friday!

If you guys want your yard to drain really well, I suggest getting soil with a lot of sand in it. -From a fan who lives with over 200 inches of rain a year.
