So we ended up going hiking in Mississippi with Leslie’s family! There were bugs everywhere and it was extremely hot and I constantly had to make our various nieces and nephews didn’t throw themselves off a cliff (one did), but it was pretty fun! EXTREMELY difficult, too. Especially if you have to carry kids or Leslie’s mom around. My legs are still in ruins and Leslie was eaten UP by bugs. But still, hiking is fun! Just don’t do it in the summer. Wait until it’s a bit chillier. Less bugs that way.

Also I'm sorry that that hike was murder on the both of you, as a native of Florida I've definitely had my fair share of bugs during the summer time, highly recommend putting on bug spray next time! 😉
