Page Delay
🕑 Added 2021-06-14 01:29:44 +0000 UTCHey everyone! Unfortunately, we weren't able to get a page finished in time for today. Last post, we told you about how Leslie's drawing tablet got borked. Not only has it been showing its age (5 years!), but apparently a Windows update was pushed out that has affected a lot of people with the same kind of tablet Leslie has. It's introduced an untenable amount of lag while drawing, making it impossible to draw anything good with it. Nobody seems to have found a good permanent fix for this (seriously, it's weird how many people it's affected), but we figured it's time to replace it anyways. As we mentioned in the last post, we put in an order for a tablet Leslie's always dreamed of getting, buuut it hasn't shipped yet. We ordered the fastest possible shipping so we SHOULD be getting it sometime next week. We're hoping before Friday so the next update could be the first thing Leslie draws on it. If it's not in by Wednesday, we'll let you all know!

Eh. Is what it is. Delivery times are much worse right now for one reason or another. I know that in the hydraulics business, what few things you CAN get takes nearly twice as long to get anywhere.

No worries. We'll just bask in the glow of Steg's glorious peen while that situation is sorted. I am not complaining, and though I know little of drawing tablets, I do know about working with subpar tools for your trade so I am legit excited for you guys.
