Leslie and I basically have been baton passing Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom with each other all week. Leslie’ll play for a few hours, then tag out and I’ll play for a few hours, and then we’ll compare notes and discoveries and locations we’ve been to or things we’ve heard. I love this game. I love it so much. Even after spending so much time with BotW, it’s evolved and refined and expanded on to such a degree that it makes a game so dense like BotW feel comparatively empty. And it’s not! And somehow, TotK doesn’t feel overwhelming, either. Everything is so meticulously designed to flow into itself, all of its mechanics collaborating in unison at every given moment to drive you forward and see and experience new things or ways to tackle scenarios. It’s incredible. I can’t wait to play more later.

I think what I love most about Rock Cocks, in addition to the stellar art and fun plot, is just how *wholesome* it treats sex. Which it totally can be! Seeing Liz gain confidence in herself and her desires, Dakota be comfortable in his body, Coral and Clover express their love, Suria and Steg showing their creativity... all of those things are shown through sex. And it's fun and funny and sweet and sexy and ... well, wholesome. In a time and culture when sexual expression - of any kind - is often treated as morally wrong or somehow corrupting to even be *aware of*, it's so so refreshing to see celebrations like this. Of not just all things sex can represent (intimacy, friendship, love, connection), but the act itself. Sex is just another aspect of human nature. It's just fun, and that's wonderful.
