We're back! Thanks for being so sweet and understanding, everyone. It's been an extremely rough summer for us, but your comments always bring so much joy. It really means the world to us, you guys are seriously the best.
It's definitely lonelier without the little goblin dog. Bruce has slept on my lap every single day for the past seven years. He's been around for almost every single Rock Cocks page I've posted here, sitting on me as I write each blog post. It's hard not to feel like something's missing. I'm really thankful that Pickle showed up when he did. He's been super chill and affectionate and playful. On the first night after we buried Bruce, I sat on the couch as Leslie went to shower. Pickle's always been a bit more focused on Leslie since they found him first, but that night, he came up to me for the first time and laid his head on my leg, the exact way Bruce would. I broke down crying, harder than I've ever cried before. He's a good lil' Pickle.
