It's been a while since we've had the characters get a bit emotional. I hope that's all right with you all.
Ahhhhh, our sumo tournament has ended! Professional sumo tournaments happen every two months and last roughly two weeks, with this one ending in September. It was a great show, but so many sumo ended up being injured or retiring early due to illness or injury, including the yokozuna himself. I never really consider how much their bodies have to take a toll when they're that heavy, that ripped, AND shoving each other so hard, but it's definitely a factor. Though I suppose that's something that many physical sports have to deal with. Still, it's good to see so many sumo wrestlers fight hard but make sure to grab each other before they take too hard of a fall (safety sumo, as its called). Still, I'm excited to see it again in November! Livestreamed of course, though I'd love to see a sumo match in person one day.

First; Liz is right. And I appreciate that she has been working (in her head) on a plan ever since that night with Suria. That means that if things don't quite work out with The King, there will still be a fallback plan. Some may sniff at Suria's ambition there, but sex work is still work, and there's no shame in selling what people want to buy. Second; I had no idea you guys liked Sumo! When I lived in Taiwan, I used to watch the Spring and Autumn tournaments! Some of those fighters were amazing! It may look like just a lot of shoving, but the finesse required to keep your feet and send your opponent out of the ring is impressive. And their training is intense-- they're supposed to be able to do handstand pushups at their weight. I miss those broadcasts on TV now that I'm stuck back in the States.

Also just remembered but since you guys are so in Sumo now, I thought I'd suggest an Anime/Manga I saw a while back called "Hinomaru Sumo" I thought was it good and it taught me a little bit about Sumo

When I tell you a smile formed on my face after seeing Lizzy go no-nonsense at that end there, it's good to go emotional, makes the characters feel more real and relatable and get you more into the story👍

I relate to the secretary here. When people get emotional, i usually want to resolve it, or analyze.

Of course it okay to have the characters get emotional. It just reinforces the fact that they care. That this matters to them.
