🕑 Added 2025-09-09 09:24:08 +0000 UTCyou had a project due tomorrow, so we both knew you weren't going to be coming to bed anytime soon tonight. i was trying to stay awake until you came to bed. it’s never any fun going to sleep without you. unfortunately, despite my best efforts, i ended up falling asleep, sitting up in bed, hair in a bun, tv stuck on the “are you still watching” screen. i only come to when i feel you crawl into bed beside me. i immediately roll my body so you can fill the space between my arms, your legs coiled around mine, your hands spread across my chest, fingers running through my beard. i'm so proud of you for getting everything you needed to do done. now you can finally come to bed and get some sleep with me.
