Sadly staring out the window as all the other squids get to go out and enjoy the Splatoon 3 Springfest while Leslie and I are stuck inside with still no word about our Switch's repair status... Siiiighhh... Pearl and Marina's outfits are so cute, too...
Ah well. It's giving us time to catch up on some gaming backlog. Leslie's on NG+3 of Elden Ring now, and I've started bouncing between Ultrakill and a replay of Dragon Quest Builders 2 on PC. And in the opposite vein of Splatoon, I also played some more Powerwash Simulator. Cleaning is fun, but it's not the same as inking... SIIIIIGHHHHHHHH...
Oh, speaking of which! If you need something to help you focus on work or study at your computer, definitely check out Spirit City: Lofi Sessions! It's basically a build-your-own lofi-beats study character with a cozy room to customize and a few chill radio stations to listen to. It's not so much of a game as it is a productivity tool, but it's certainly helped Leslie and I with work these last couple weeks. Having a game program open makes it less tempting to open anything else, and there's great little management tools like timers and to-do lists you can make. Plus, you unlock pets in the game by idling, and since there's not much else to do in-game but wait, it kind of forces you to get your ass working on something else. Highly recommended!
