I've changed the wording on the way to the cave a little, so might be best to use a save just prior to the first snake encounter to begin to be sure the changed wording is triggered. *** Important troubleshooting *** - If you're having issues with the videos stuttering in the rpg maker engine then changing your screen refresh rate seems to fix the issue: (settings>system>display>advanced_display>choose_a_refresh_rate)
The vids began to stutter for me for no particular reason, and I changed my refresh rate from 144 to 60 hz and that fixed it for me, even when I then changed it back(??). Others have reported the same issue and fix. However, the loops with dialogue seem to stutter a little for me at the 60 hz refresh rate, so if you are having issues it's best keep the settings window open to toggle the rates as required.
PLANNED TO DO LIST FOR ME - (slight spoilers)
I'll keep working on this little section until the end of December just to tidy up some bits. There's an option to dodge the snake in the first encounter and I want to put in a quick animation to show that escape which circumvents all snake scenes if desired. I also want to write an option to forgo the battle with the snake in the cave by having Ariana's inner struggle take place at the cave mouth. And then I want to try to build the next area so you can get out of the woodland path. Also I want to go back and change the style of text that appears when the snake is seducing Ariana in the videos. It doesn't look right, so I'll try to find something a bit more fitting. As I say, it's just a bit of tidying up, so shouldn't take too long at all. When these little bits are fixed I'll release this as v0.02, but v0.01(c) is substantially the same thing.

Thank you. I'm still very much a novice at this animation lark, but I'm giving it everything I've got for each scene. Pretty happy with how it's coming along so far.

Yes, I think around feb or march. I'd hoped to be further along by now, but the snake scenes slowed me down due to just being plain difficult to animate. Hoping to pick up the pace again now I've finished those scenes.

Thank you. Yep, the animations are getting better, though there's still a lot of room for improvement, so hopefully I can keep pressing forward with that. No more snakes are planned for the moment, but that doesn't mean there won't be snake scenes in the future. I just need to explore some other preds first before taking another look at them.
