Here's another weekly sneak peek at the final Power Girl chapter. Things are proceeding smoothly. No hiccups. And I'm still having a blast!
Nothing really new to report otherwise. Lately, I've been wondering if I should open up more to the community through Discord or such. It's a thought experiment right now, as it can become a distraction from the workflow. Maybe I'm just feeling shut in.
As I mentioned quite some time ago, I moved in with my mom in January as she suffers from dementia and needed a full-time caregiver. Gotta say - it's the worst thing ever. It's taking care of someone who doesn't realize they're sick, so it's a constant struggle with them. And there's a little less of her left with every passing day.
Anyways, it strikes me how creating this Patreon a couple of years ago has probably saved my sanity. It's a great creative outlet that's supported by good people such as yourselves. Even if I don't engage with my patrons as much as other creators do through their various social media platforms, I just wanted to say that I appreciate you all - as an audience and fellow travelers.
With that, I hope you all have a great weekend! I'm looking forward to sharing more as we roll towards publication end-October.

Thanks, man. Yeah, I guess the German expression stem from dogs' ears as they tend to droop when they're sad. Didn't know that! But yes, "stiff upper lip" is a definitive British English saying for sure. Don't hear it too much in North America. 🙂 And I appreciate your sentiment. It was good of you to take care of your sick uncle. I hope his suffering has passed. Thanks again for your kind words. You mean Fisher? Yeah, I can see him getting on a healthier routine as he gets a new lease on life, but that falls beyond the scope of this comic. As the Norse would write - "The Sagas Do Not Say".

Continue to love your work. In Germany we say "Halt die ohren steif" literally "Keep your ears eract" but google tells me as a saying it would mean "Keep a stiff upper lip". I helped taking care of my uncle when he had terminal cancer and in my book dementia is even worse on the caregivers. So I think you deserve all the praises for doing this and supporting your mom like this.

Where do I see a potential healthy and stacked Miller in the futur, living along side PG? He would not develop a superman body but could loose some fat and gain some muscles. His frame is not that thin!
