So life has changed quite a bit since I said this! I have a kid now and am still the sole provider in the household who also has to take on childcare duties on his off days. This means I have no real days off, ever, and means that if I'm putting hours and hours of work into each chapter, I need to be able to justify it somehow.
So while Royal Road releases will not change in frequency, I've decided to start posting advance chapters to the $5/month membership tier. This change has not only drastically increased my daily output due to the motivation, but also helps free readers who will see less delays since there is an existing backlog.

I was looking at your memberships and I noticed you should add general support to the tier benefits of your memberships so sales tax will not be applied as both your memberships are purely monetary support (i.e. members don’t receive anything in return) to ensure members pay the correct amount of sales tax for their pledge where applicable.

I think you should add other tiers of support. Even without any advanced chapters. I personally support authors not for the advanced chapters but because they bring joy to my life.
