Bennett flicked off his cigarette and grabbed my hips. "Let’s see if we can prank the other guys," he said, pulling me tighter against him. I laughed and replied, "Sure!"
But I couldn’t help feeling safe and content with Bennett holding me close, the warmth of his body giving me a sense of comfort I hadn’t expected.
When we walked into the party, no one seemed to recognize me right away. No one really batted an eye as we made our way to our friend group.
"Yo, Bennett!" Cooper hollered, scanning me up and down. "Lucky bastard! When did you land that hottie?" But as we got closer, his eyes widened in shock, just like Bennett's had earlier.
"Well, that’s fucking scary! Elijah, you look exactly like a girl! That’s messed up!" Jose, who stood next to Cooper, exclaimed.
Cooper stood there with his mouth gaping, and I couldn’t help but feel like prey again—but that thought also made me warm and giddy inside.
Cooper reached out and grabbed my fake breast, grinning. "Wow! They almost feel real!"
Bennett smacked Cooper’s fingers away, his tone light but firm. "Hey, that’s no way to treat a girl." He smirked, but the way he held me tighter suggested a hint of possessiveness.
Cooper just laughed, “Hey, sharing is caring, Ben! But this is crazy, man! Elijah looks just like any of your exes—maybe even better.” He grinned mischievously.
“Shut up, Coop. You’re such an ass,” I shot back, rolling my eyes but unable to suppress a smile.
After explaining how my sister meticulously helped me achieve this look to Cooper and Jose, I couldn’t help but notice how they treated me a bit differently. I was unsure if it was just playful banter, flirting, or genuine curiosity.
Bennett offered me a drink, grinning. "Here, babe." He laughed it off, and Cooper and Jose joined in, their laughter infectious. I couldn’t help but laugh along, but something about Bennett seemed different. Was he just playing along for fun, or was there something more behind his eyes?
As the night wore on, I couldn’t help but notice how Bennett seemed to follow me around like a lost puppy. He kept getting me drinks and treating me like some girl he wanted to hook up with. When someone pointed it out, he just laughed it off. “I gotta take care of my fave girl, you know? Haha!”
I didn’t complain; it was kind of sweet how he always appeared when I was talking to my buddies or some random guy. I was getting a lot of attention for my costume, and it felt good. But the way he hovered suggested he wanted me all to himself. Maybe it was just wishful thinking, but part of me hoped it was more than that.
Everyone, including me, was getting increasingly tipsy as we played drinking games, beer pong, and just had a blast. When it was time to award the best costume, I really had no ambition to win, so I didn’t think much of it.
So you can imagine my shock when the host announced my name. "The winner is Elijah! Or Eli for tonight! Everyone, give it up for the hottest gal at the party!"
Cheers erupted around me, accompanied by whistles and catcalls. I couldn’t help but revel in the moment as I made my way up to collect my prize. As I walked, I caught Bennett's gaze. He was focusing intently on me, and when our eyes met, he winked, making my heart race.
I took some shots while Bennett continued to eye me, his gaze lingering a little too long. It made me squirm inside, even with my heightened confidence.
Suddenly, a guy I didn’t know approached me, swaying slightly. I could smell the liquor on his breath, and it was clear he was drunk. “Hey there, gorgeous,” he slurred, a goofy grin spreading across his face. “You really nailed that costume. You look just like a girl! I have a thing for crossdressers. Wanna go somewhere and have fun?”
Before I could respond, I glanced back at Bennett, hoping to catch a hint of his reaction. He was still watching, his expression unreadable, but the intensity in his eyes sent a jolt through me.
“No, I’m not gay or anything. The costume is just for fun,” I managed to say, trying to deflect him. But he didn’t stop.
He leaned closer, a drunken smirk on his face. “Come on, we can just have some fun.”
I tried to back away, but he grabbed my arm, pulling me toward him. Just then, that grip was suddenly yanked away with brute force. It was Bennett.
“Hey! Back off, man!” Bennett’s voice was low and dangerous, his expression dark as he stepped in front of me. The guy stumbled back, taken aback by the sudden confrontation.
I felt a rush of relief wash over me, but it was quickly replaced by a swell of confusion. “Bennett, it’s fine. I can handle it,” I protested, though I didn’t really believe it.
“No one messes with my bros,” he shot back, his eyes still fixed on the drunken guy. “Why don’t you find someone else to bother?”
The guy huffed, his bravado faltering. “I was just talking to her, man. No need to get all worked up.”
Bennett stepped closer, fists clenched. “Trust me, you don’t want to make this a bigger deal. Just walk away.”
As the guy finally retreated, I turned to Bennett, a mix of gratitude and bewilderment swirling inside me. “Why did you do that?” I asked, my voice quieter now.
“Because I don’t like the way he was looking at you,” Bennett replied, his tone softer but still firm. He glanced at me, and I could see the concern etched in his features. It sent a flutter through my chest.
“I appreciate it,” I said, the warmth of his protection wrapping around me like a comforting blanket. “But I can take care of myself.”
“I know you can,” he replied, a hint of a smile playing at the corners of his lips. “But it doesn’t hurt to have someone watch your back.”
Bennett was always traditionally masculine, the kind of guy who commanded attention without even trying. And in this moment, that confidence was on full display. I could feel my heart racing, my pulse thrumming in my ears—and a creeping discomfort as I felt my body respond in ways I hadn’t expected. My tucked-in situation was quickly becoming… complicated.
“Uh, brb,” I mumbled, forcing a casual tone. “I just gotta pee, like, badly.” I hurried toward the line for the bathroom, but Bennett was right behind me.
“Wait—are you alright?” he asked, genuine concern softening his expression.
“Yeah, yeah, I’m fine. Just really need to go,” I stammered, hoping I sounded more casual than I felt. But then I noticed the line snaking out the door, and my nerves spiked. My dick was still straining uncomfortably against its contraints.
Bennett assessed the scene, then leaned in close. “Come here,” he said quietly, and before I could respond, he took my wrist, leading me down the hall. He stopped in front of a door, opening it to reveal a staircase that led down.
“I know the host,” he explained with a small smile. “There’s a little bathroom downstairs. Come on—I’ll show you.”
I followed him, his grip steady on my arm, sending little sparks through me with each step. “Yeah, I get it—probably kinda hard to just, you know, whip it out outside with… all that gear,” Bennett smirked, glancing at my outfit. He led me to a small, dimly lit bathroom. Outside the door, he paused, rubbing the back of his neck. “Mind if I join you? Could use a freshen-up too. I’ll keep you company.”
This was normal for us, a habit at parties, so I shrugged, feigning nonchalance. “Sure, man.” But as we stepped inside, the small room felt charged, the energy between us thick with something unspoken.
Once the door closed, I don’t know what came over me. Maybe it was the alcohol emboldening me, maybe just the hazy warmth of his presence, but before I could second-guess myself, my arms slid around him, pulling him close as I pressed my lips to his.
For a heartbeat, he stood frozen, his body rigid against mine. Realizing what I’d done, I felt my face go hot as I pulled back, mortified. “Bennett—shit, I’m so sorry. I got carried away, or I thought maybe…” I trailed off, scrambling to explain.
But he didn’t seem to hear. Slowly, his expression shifted, his eyes softening, then brightening with something intense, something I hadn’t seen before. Without a word, he stepped forward, pressing me against the door, his body flush against mine. And then his lips were on mine, the kiss rough and insistent, his hands gripping my waist as if he was afraid I might pull away.
A rush of heat flooded through me as I kissed him back, my own hands finding their way to his shoulders. I felt as if the ground had dropped out from beneath me, leaving me suspended in this dizzying moment, the world outside the small bathroom forgotten.
As we broke apart, breathless, his forehead pressed against mine. He let out a low, rough whisper, “Eli, I’m going to fuck you tonight.”
My pulse thundered, and I could only nod, my heart hammering as his grip tightened, grounding me in this crazy moment. This was Bennett, and while he’d always been a bit dominant—which, admittedly, I liked—here he was taking charge in a way I’d never seen before. His usual confidence had shifted to something raw and unfiltered, a need that seemed to mirror my own. There was no hesitance, no second-guessing; it was as if this had always been simmering beneath the surface, waiting for the right moment to explode.
He guided me back, pinning me gently against the wall, his lips capturing mine with an intensity that left me dizzy. His hands roamed over me, possessive yet careful, each touch igniting a new spark that seemed to settle deep in my core. I responded instinctively, gripping his shoulders, pulling him closer

Explosive start to a story! The whole dressing-up-like-a-girl angle is honestly a little terrifying for me.
