Yes. The source material may have come out in that order. But Ufotable clearly made the choice to start with Zero and continue with UBW and Heaven's Feel. You can see it with all the Zero references and cameos in both that weren't in the original VN. So for the ufotable anime that is the watch order. Also Zero is waaay more enjoyable for first time watchers if they don't know the fate (no pun intended) of all these characters. Especially since the BW crew really likes to theorize. Watching UBW first would rob them of that. Hell, they outright tell you what happened at the end of Zero in UBW. The only thing they'd learn from watching Zero first is some character identities but nothing of the plot at all.

Most likely they're probably going to announce it on Thursdays podcast because the polls only run for a week and Thursday is when the poll ends and they usually announce the poll winners on their podcasts also they would have to start posting Early Access reaction to the first episode of the new show on the following Tuesday so it would line up pretty perfectly for them to announce it on the podcast.

There are not many shows that make you feel so connected with its characters and their philosophy like this one does, and during these times, it's a healthy dose of fighting spirit! UBW was honestly a bit of a disappointment, after the greatness of Zero. Zero was such a unique viewing experience, that I was kind of sad to see how generic/formulaic UBW was. Im glad I didn't watch UBW first, because having all the outcomes of every character spoiled for me, would have just completely ruined the experience.

I disagree. I watched Fate/Zero years before I watched any of the Fate/Stay Night routes. It works fine as a standalone. At least for me personally, watching UBW kind of turned me off Fate for a bit since it felt like such a generic shonen show, outside of the godly animation. That said, I did find that it was a bit of nice catharsis after the grimness of Fate/Zero.

Alright boys and girls, Fate/Zero is the way to go. It's got an all-star staff, written by the guy who wrote the first season of Psycho-Pass and animated by the same studio that did Demon Slayer. The story is wonderfully well crafted, the characters are superbly written, the premise is dank, and the action sequences are danker. The show is conducive to both great reactions AND great discussions. There are very few shows that I would personally put on par with this one. It's an experience that I feel any anime viewer should experience at least once. It's like Game of Thrones except it doesn't squander its potential at the end.

this is a hard one, Kill La Kill is one of my favorites. no real way to explain it other than just being pure fun, like inject dopamine straight into your brain fun. I also just finished Parasyte and it's fucking GOLD. How is it a sequel when it's not a continuation of the steins gate series? It's tied into the story and you could say it's a "sequel" to the alternate version of an episode but steins gate has an ending. It's not like other shows with sequels where you need to watch them to continue the story.

I would like to make a case for Fate/Zero: Did y'all enjoy the in-depth discussions they had about the nature of how things worked in Steins;Gate? Then you'll love the level of theorizing and discussions that will come with Fate/Zero. Fate/Zero is essentially a fantastically written battle royale involving mages and historical figures in which each combatant tries to win by any means necessary. There are mind games, compromised morals, betrayals, multi-step keikaku, and all kinds of wild shit. The character writing is superb and by the end you'll be rooting for multiple people. All of that is topped off with gorgeously drawn and animated action sequences, courtesy of Ufotable. It is in my opinion, one of the best anime that I have ever seen.

@Lighy667 Most of the big classics that are talked about to this day end up being anything before 2011. Its due to seasonal anime churning too much anime too quick so not enough anime has time to stew or enough of a wide audiance all eyes on it. Belive me I started feeling old when realizing how old all these late 80s and 90s anime i watched sre. Even things Like FMA Brotherhood and Code Geauss are over 10 years old.
