Pitou has boobs and is voiced by a Female. They use "It" & other pronouns like it to de-humanize Pitou. She's the one Ant they don't want to see as Human. They only recognize her as a monster. Pitou is not spoken of as genderless. She's spoken of as an Animal.

In fairness even if they did do like three a week Heaven’s Arena arc was so long ago that they likely would have forgotten anyway. It’s not uncommon for reactors to forget about forceful awakening by the time they get to this point and are just as confused how the ants get nen.

Gon and Killua got their aura notes opened because of Wing their first Teacher he focused Nen on them but not in a Harmful way after that they passed the secret Hunter exam which was finding out about Nen so yes the show told you about that in the Heavens Arena arc :P

I thought that was her En, later on when she’s watching the palace the red aura goes over the entire place and I don’t remember seeing the red anywhere else, but that’s off the top of my head so I could be wrong

Her Ren is red. The purple is just residual aura that leaks out unconsciously. We saw this when Gon arm wrestled Shizuku and a few other instances.

Lol in their defense they’d have to sift through a lot of notes. But at least it’s been cleared up for them.

I can’t wait for their reactions next week. Also just to clear it up the purple aura surrounding Pitou is it using ren and it’s an ominous aura. Hisoka, Illumi, and some of the Photom Troup were seen using it for an intent to kill or to threaten others. Anyone can use it if they know how to use nen. Pitou’s ren was just so powerful that it made everyone around her submit immediately.
