I think Stormfront just worked her way up to the 7 without Edger’s knowledge of who she really was. It just happens that he needed someone to deal with homelander and all his projects at the time. Maybe a coincidence.

I was thinking that for a second too, that the whole sage grove thing is something she's doing behind his back. But Starlight said those emails Stormfront got about a breakthrough at sage grove were all sent by Edgar so i'm pretty sure he knows all about it.

I think Stormfront is working independently of Edgar. I think Vought is a straightforward company run by Edgar, but behind the scenes Stormfront is using secret Vought resources to fund her super army. Also, check out some images for Love Sausage online in the comics. He was a Russian superhero whose powers were strength and had nothing to do with his giant sausage.

You don't cast Giancarlos Esposito and make him a lackey. It could be that Stan Edger is Frederik Vought and we have a Get Out situation where Vought chose to be a African American man to deceive people like they said in the movie "black is in." Why else would we have had the conversation between Homelander and Edgar in which we found about Compound V and Frederik Vought. Also, why would Stormfront show up now, as in why rebrand her (from Liberty to Stormfront) and put her in the Seven. They could have put her when Lamplighter retired, why now? And why make her a part of the Seven and not just have her run the company like Edgar. Maybe Vought / Edgar runs the company and Stormfront does the dirty work, she sure seems to enjoy it.

anyone else surprised by how concerned Butcher was for Hughie when he got hurt? i guess it's the whole Hughie reminds him of Lenny thing but it kinda caught me off guard also i think Edgar could be in charge but Stormfront has like plans to get rid of him when the time is right

I think Stormfront plays along with Edgar and Vought's business angle, but Raynor said in episode 1, "It's a coup from the inside" before she was assassinated; possibly by Cindy who Stormfront controlled. I think a separate faction inside Vought is trying to create this Ubermensch army parallel to how Edgar pinned making the supes on Stillwell and an "underground faction".

My thoughts as well. Little did Vought know that the US in 2020 would be more than accepting of Nazi's living in America. But I could definitely see it being Vought finding some way to change his appearance to escape persecution.

Raynor mentioned "a coup from the inside" right before her head got blown up. Presumably by Cindy, who Stormfront had direct access to. My theory is that Edgar is in charge right now, but won't be for much longer.

Consider how old Stormfront really is, and she was there at the beginning of compound V, I would think Edgar answers to her. He never seemed all that intimidated by Homelander, we assumed it was because he had another card to play, but maybe it was because he had someone even scarier to answer to...

They could both think they're in charge. That can work for a while, and Vought hasn't had any real challenges that could upset the balance, until recently.

I feel like stormfront is above him in the chain of command but I also feel that there is somebody who holds all the cards above her, something darker and more mischievous.

I don’t think it’s either. I think they both think they have the upper hand while the other is probably working on something behind the other’s back. But for the sake of the poll, I chose that Stormfront works for Edgar. When in doubt, always bet in favor of Giancarlo Esposito.

I think Stormfront answers to Edgar and doesn’t know it. I think she believes she’s in charge and that she holds all the power. She believes she’s just letting Edgar sit as CEO to keep herself out of the public eye. But Edgar has been playing the long game all along, and is trying to take the power of Vought International away from Stormfront. Who knows...maybe the endgame is going to be The Boys, Edgar, and their allies vs. Stormlander and their supporters.

I think that Edgar answers to Stormfront in private but not officially, however Edgar is working behind the scenes to force Stormfront out/kill her/discredit her claim to the company. Publicly, Edgar is the boss. So who is going to believe her story if Edgar tries to take over? I think she is underestimating him due to his ethnicity and the fact he has no powers. It will be Edgar who will be her downfall. Not Homelander, The Church or The Boys. On a side note I also thought Black Noir may be Lenny when I watched the last episode but I quickly dismissed it. Firstly, if that was the case Billy doesn't know. Otherwise their confrontation during the last episode would have been different. Secondly, from Black Noir's reaction to the Compound V reveal he must have believed he was born the way he is up to that point. So I doubt he was ever playing in the playground with Billy. Also the way he acts doesn't strike me as the "cannery" type.

I honestly don't think it's either, I imagine it's a tense, tenuous partnership with the two of them working together for now but both having different end goals that they'd be willing to turn against the other to achieve. Even if one of them *thinks* they're in charge, the other one definitely has plans to usurp them.

I'll say Stormfront answers to Edgar, but I suspect Stormfront might be playing him to gain more power at Vought. If Edgar knew about Stormfront's backstory, I don't think he would put her on The Seven, and I definitely don't think he would answer to her.

I think edgar answers to stormfront. With the reveal of stormfront as a nazi( no surprise by the way) I'd put my money on edgar answering to her because hes just their to be a puppet for her to show the company has diversity.

If I had to guess I think Stormfront probably controls a large amount of the shares of Vought being the wife of the companies founder and all. So in a way she is Edgar's boss but I think they both have very different goals and I wouldn't be shocked if Stormfront keeps encouraging the darker parts of Homelander she might end up having a visit from Black Noir in the near future

Honestly, I don't know. My instinct says Gus answers to no one. Problem is, the writers of the show have bigger dick energy than Love Sausage. They could be using that against us. What better way to subvert our expectations. I'll say Stormfront is in charge. If I'm right, I'm right. If I'm wrong, I get the satisfaction of seeing a white supremacist answer to a black man.

I personally think maybe Fredrick Vaught is Edgar. Because why does he know so much about him. I think this is a long con to manipulate homelander with stromfront so basically Gian Carlo Esposito is the one pulling all the strings.

Earlier in the season it was mentioned that there might a power struggle going on within Vought with someone trying to take control from the current head. Maybe Stormfront is trying to depose Edgar.
