Do you think Agatha Harkness is the singular big bad, or is she working for or equally with someone?

now that you normies know its agatha i can say: "pietro" is most likely her son nicholas scratch since he is helping her. yeah he could be mephisto or lord pandemonium like the casting predictions said back when they were filming but I WANT MY WITCHES! and how dare they! make wanda's serrogate mother/mentor and the godmother of franklin richards a villain? why cause she's a witch disney? RACIST! the rule of three dont like evil. WATCH OUT, A HOUSE WILL FALL ON YOU
I think it's just Agatha. My theory is she's from another universe. That's why Pietro doesn't look like the one from this universe, because she just assumed they look the same. Maybe she's controlling an alternate Pietro. She might possibly be from the xmen universe itself, and that's how they connect the two franchises. Maybe, with the two snaps, some things or people are being pulled through from other universes. That would be a good lead in to Doctor Strange, as well, where they fully address and try to fix, or at least come to a compromise, with the multiverse issue.
Julia Macleod
I can easily see it being just her and maybe it is but I just don't think it could be just her doing everything. But you could also say that it's not just her since Wanda herself has unwittingly helped her with her plan. So regardless of whether Agatha initiated this plan/is acting by herself you can't deny Wanda's hand in helping.
It seems like every magic based being in the MCU apart from Doctor strange channel the power of a higher more powerful being like dormmamu, so if Agatha isn’t already using his power then I’m guessing she’s using someone else’s.
Zaria Ewing
“Pietro” is Ralph or Agatha’s son!
TwistedMagoo
Agatha working with somebody. And the show ends with Dr. Strange killing Vision to foil that plan (with Vision's consent) thus setting up 'evil' Scarlet Witch. Also Professor X (Pat Stewart version) will sense that somebody has pulled Quicksilver out of his universe to puppet them, and will show up (though perhaps not in person) to liberate his mind. These are my guesses, and they are almost certainly all wrong.
It's going to be Ralph the alternate sorcerer Supreme
Coeus
Whose to say she herself isn't being controlled? She may just be a conduit for the purple power people eater. Don't know the comics worth a damn, so my guesses are limited to the MCU and/or the ridiculous.. so I'm gonna say it's the dude that Tony Stark let go in the Mandarin's mansion.
Gavin Mcfadden
Agatha isn’t a villain in the comics, so I’m doubting she’s the one fully behind this.
BigSteve Kasten
I think she's working with someone who might be dead and she needs the power of both her abd Wanda to bring them back
Angus Whitehead
I went for with someone the same way that loki was the main antagonist of the avengers but ultimately was working with/for Thanos. I believe whoever it ends up being will be the villain of Dr Strange and the Multiverse of Madness.
Angel Groves
It is apparent to me that all the people in the town are those that had lost others during "the snap", and I still believe Agnes is a huge part of the role (whether being the mom of Wanda and Pietro, or someone protecting her/them).
Angel Groves
Rick: "eight miles?" Aaron: "Yeah, like Eminem."
I hope just Agatha, I really didn't want this show to have a super villain it was going great and I could have kept watching for like 30 episodes now it's just the same as everything else.
Darth Skhorrn
This is like Kaecilius and Dormammu in Doctor Strange. She may be the primary antagonist, but she is not the primary villain.
Alexander Mullins (Valathor95)
Ralph!
Bejo
I'm glad someone pointed it out
David Roderick
I know you guys don't like spoilers from the comics so I won't say too much. I'll just say that so far, this show has been pretty close to a story line from the comics so I expect it will remain so and Agatha will be like the Loki of the next phase and Mephisto will be like the Thanos. P.S. She killed Sparky, BURN THE WITCH!!!
Adam Dobnikar
Beezlebub - lord of the flies - the devil - the fly/bug - mephisto?
Ricardo Pomalaza
The commercial in this episode was for an antidepressant called Nexus. The term “Nexus” has ties to the Marvel Comics. The Nexus is a cross-dimensional gateway which provides a pathway to any and all possible realities, this includes realities between realities. Essentially, it is a doorway to the multiverse. With that knowledge, now read the Nexus ad voiceover and you can see that it is very telling, and speaks to a much larger reveal on the horizon: “Feeling depressed? Like the world goes on without you? Do you just want to be left alone? Ask your Doctor about Nexus, a unique antidepressant that works to anchor you back to your reality, or the reality of your choice. Side effects include: feeling your feelings, confronting your truth, seizing your destiny, and possibly more depression. You should not take Nexus until your Doctor has cleared you to move on with your life. Nexus: because the world doesn’t revolve around you. Or does it?”
Prince of Za Waurdo Over Salmon
I think she is working with someone but it will be revealed in the end like thanos in avengers
Fyre
So the Darkhold is probably Agatha's book. It actually got rescued from Hell in The Runaways, so it could have made it there. Doctor Strange will probably show up to take it back.
Quwykxz
I think she's not even a bad guy at all; she's just acting that way in order to lull the real baddie into a false sense of security.
Artemis LA
We know that WandVision will lead into Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. Thus, Agatha's scheme will setup the Big Bad for the movie. Agatha will be presented as the singular villain here, but her actions (likely seen in the last episode) will hint at a greater evil.
They need to have someone else helping Agatha, if only for the reason to plug the next round of shows.
I feel like Agatha is the big bad for the show, but the someone she might be working for will be seen later on maybe in Doctor Strange 2 or the finale for the show.
k9commander
Why not both? I think Agnes is the big bad of the show who is working for an even bigger bad. We don't see the bigger bad in the show, except for maybe an end-credit scene in the last episode.
sapfire
In show, I think she's the big bad (that gets away in the end), MCU overall, she's the harbinger of things to come and possible catalyst for one of our next big bads.
Billy THE KID Lawrence
Just sayin' ..... Mephisto's first appearance in the comics was....AS A FLY. *dun dun dun*
Anthony Wickizer
That’s a tough question for me. I think they are pulling a Thanos. Loki was the big bad for Avengers, but it was really Thanos pulling the strings. I think the same thing here. Agnes is the big bad for this show, but she is doing it for either Mephisto or Nightmare who will be the big bad in Doctor Strange most likely.
TheJungleMan
Quicksilver is from his universe, because of that book, have a feeling a fight scene is coming.
Jax
I feel like it's too much for just Wanda and Agatha's power alone, there's probably an extradimensional entity helping.
Andrew Inman
It could be just Agatha and she seems to be mainly studying Wanda's powers, which would explain the questions this Pietro, under Agnes's control, was asking. As far as the Hex, that still seems to be Wanda's doing, because how things were affected by her powers when she was pregnant and in her various emotional states.
Normally this late into a show id say that a second villain would be too much. But considering that Doctor Strange comes right after I really can see them bringing in the villain from that movie. It'd almost be like Doctor Strange 2 is the second season. I saw a theory that it could even end up being Baron Mordo...
Richard Daniel Erland
It could be like when Loki tried to invade New York for Thanos.
Dylan Carpenter
This late into the show, I think Agatha is the main villain of WandaVision. However, I could definitely see this being a way to introduce a bigger villain for the larger MCU depending on Agatha's motives.
Erich Bomke
I don't think she is the villain at all. I think she is just another queen on the chessboard who can move in any direction.
Jordan Malloy
I think Agatha's the sole "villain". My bet is that she's an actual sorceress, like Strange, Wong, etc. I think she stole the book from the library, which is going to be the main tie-in to Doctor Strange. It probably holds info/spells about how to manipulate the multiverse.
Fun fact, Captain Jack Harkness from Doctor Who was named after Agatha Harkness.
Duane
I think Agatha needs the kids in order to bring the ‘big bad’ (mephisto) to this universe or revive perhaps, as she’s been trying to find out if Wanda has that ability. Setting up Doctor strange and Wanda trying to get the kids back in the multiverse of madness.
Sou saetern
Yes, I noticed that package delivery guy during the Monica confrontation scene. I think he might be a player in disguise as well. Maybe he's Ralph.
Vidolin
Maybe whoever she's working with is a Celestial? Since they have already been introduced to the MCU
Zachary Anderson
I don't entirely know if she working with someone if I had to guess it could be haywood but she could just be doing it solo
Jeanette C
I think she has to be working with someone outside the hex in order to pull it off
Axis 77
I really think (while I love it) the show is already heavily convoluted enough without adding another villain on top of all that's already happening.
I think she could be working solo, everyone keeps talking about mephisto but I don’t think there’s been any hints to him actually being the villain
Angel Groves
That coffee mug was very similar to "World's Best Boss" There were many similarities and references to a certain office show. Loved it.
I think she's definately working with Hayward. He let's her reek havok on Wanda, and Agatha manipulates Wanda into reviving Vision for Hayward. Agatha might also be working with/for Mephisto, but I'm not totally sure, but if she is, I don't think Hayward knows. And I really want to believe that Evan Peters is a "brainwashed" X-Men Quicksilver and not a complate fake.
Do you think the Koenigs will be the same actors as on AOS?
Chris
I don't believe she is working alone, but after this episode I don't think it is Mephisto anymore. Assuming that book was actually the darkhold or something similar, our villain might actually be Chthon, the author of the darkhold. Also Senor scratchy is obviously Billy Koenig, while the bug on the window is Sam
wickedwolf
"With Someone" in the sense that she's working in service of someone.
master_octagon
I'm 50/50. The show definitely based on the trauma of women - Monica, Wanda, and possibly Agatha? I personally like the ideas that she's like an obsessed devil-fan trying to get Mephisto's attention OR Agatha is the antagonist for WandaVision that leads to Mephisto as the core villain in Doctor Strange 2 as well as the multiverse bleeding into Spider-Man 3 (since its all connected!)
I feel like a lot in this show has been a misdirect, and I think them saying that it was Agatha all along is also a misdirect
MelanieRS
I've always been in the camp of thinking that Agatha is working with someone else, but considering that there is only 2 episodes left I think it would be a bad idea to introduce a big bad at the very end like that... unless it will be the big bad for another property. So no, I think they'll keep it being Agatha and maybe suggest that she worships something else but not show it.
Grant Wilson
I think that it will be Agatha appearing to work solo, or perhaps even believing she is solo but with the presence of THAT book (S4 of Agents of Shield) then it is possible that it was given to her or she was led to it. So she could be working on behalf of someone else or as a pawn of someone else. That other party presumably being the antagonist in Doctor Strange.
GoundG
I think Wanda came back and went into depression over having killed vision for no reason and that though haunted her, in comes Agatha that is working with Mephisto, Agatha is the mentor to Wanda in the comics and i think this Agatha got to Wanda and bewitched Wanda into thinking she could bring vision back but to do so she would need to be stronger, so with the influence of Agatha Wanda created this hexagon world, i also think Mephisto is actually the bunny because it felt like Agatha to one of the twins, he was feeling the magic of Mephisto and Agatha, in the comics the twins are born from some part of Mephisto and he reabsorbed them before they get reborn into their superhero identities, so the rabbit is absorbing/feeding on Wanda's magic and getting stronger and vision is the only one that can save Wanda and stop Mephisto so Agatha is the one trying to block vision from coming back
ToriV_1997
Phenomenal episode but side note: Jimmy Woo originally came to west view because he was checking in with someone in the witness protection program. Are we supposed to just forget about that? I haven’t stopped thinking about that fact, through the last few episodes and who that could be.
Kevin Bartelen
I want to say with someone, but I just don't think they're actually going to give us Mephisto and I certainly don't think she's working with that SWORD guy.
Steven Tarsitano
I don't think Evan Peters is playing quicksilver. I think he is playing Mephisto who is trying to pose as quicksilver to manipulate Wanda. I think that the actors tie to an alternate version of quicksilver was meant to fool us. I think the writers wanted us to think that he actually is quicksilver but he isn't. And the magic that Agatha does on him outside her front door could just be spiffying him up to appear like quicksilver for Wanda.
Jacob Suydam
Mephisto is behind this in someway, i feel it in my bones
Toni Sulemani
Well Wanda is still doing it, she kept it it going even of she didn't start it.
Flashback007
There is someone else messing around. If we follow the last scene Agatha arrived after everything was already in place. And we know from Wanda that she didn't start it. So there's that
DanFDTR
#Mephisto
Dejuan
I think that Agatha is apart of a larger scheme and there might be someone even bigger in the background. Possibly all this multiverse and reality-bending stuff that's in this show and in shows and movies down the road is related to that person.
Cal
I’m now on the Mephisto bandwagon. I’m betting he’s Ralph.
Jow
Loki ended up sort of working for Thanos in Avengers. Mephisto can still be the big bad - I think he's the shark from the YoMagic ad, snacking on Wanda's magic - but Agatha is this story's villain.
Joel
I wouldn't mind Mephisto pulling the strings, but I feel with everyone still wanting him in the show it might be too obvious that it's him.
Barry
Agatha is powerful but powerful enough to manipulate a nexus being like Wanda alone. I say she's in cahoots with Mephisto.
MarkIsDaBoss
I feel that she is the cause of all this, whilst posing as an ally of Wanda's, while her partner, who I think is Mephisto, is hiding in Westview, doing something sinister. A small part of me thinks it could be Pietro, because at the beginning of this episode, Wanda said "That man is not your uncle." So yeah, this oughta be good.
Chase Gardner
That was creepier than last episode. I got Alice in wonderland vibes from this episode but in westview.
Keldrigh
I think Angnes is working alone to revive somebody (either mafisto or her, probably dead, husband) and needs wanda's powers to revive him since she doesn't have that kind of powers ( maybe that is the reason why Pietro isn't MCU pietro)
Ryan O'Malley
She mentions Ralph a lot so I think that might be the alias of another big bad.
Nathan Armitage
I believe she is working for mephisto but he won't be revealed till the end of the season finale, and we'll have some text come up with the words "Mephisto will return in Doctor Strange: Multiverse of Madness" Or something along those lines
Matthew Cronin
My theory is she is manipulating Wanda in service of Mephisto, perhaps to steal her children or maybe her powers. I think Mephisto could be our new Thanos.
Choux D Bruxelles
I vote she is working with someone ... But I believe she thinks that but is actually working for not with
spencer
working with someone that will require some magic to fight
Maybe just agetha trying to bring in a big bad.
Christian Bolda
I really think it might be Nightmare she is working with she can’t be doing alone because I don’t think she more powerful than Wanda I think she needed help from Nightmare to create this world and allow Wanda to believe she has control when she never actually did
Deadpool
I believe it’s nightmare as Mark Hamil here is why. It’s wandas dream world but clearly it’s a nightmare for everyone trapped. plus Hamil voiced nightmare in Ultimate Spider-man cartoon. I think Agnes will free nightmare at the end by feeding off wandas magic. which will lead into doc strange 2 which is supposed to be thrilling and scary according to feige.
I'm still guessing Nightmare is the big bad
Michael
From what limited knowledge I have on the subject, it was believed back in the day that witches made pacts with the devil in order to gain power. I think something similar might be going on here with Agatha and Mephisto.
Danielle T.
Agatha is a big bad, but not THE Big Bad. My only evidence is “Pietro” hinting at someone else the entire time even though she’s the one controlling him.
michael clark
I think Mephisto will be mentioned/introduced in name and Agatha is just an agent on his behalf, similar to how Loki was an agent of thanos in the first avengers film.
I feel like she is alone only because she doesn’t have anybody with her such as a husband.
Damian Bentley
SHE IS WORKING WITH HER BUNNY WHO IS THE DEVIL
Dip602
I think she is working alone to bring someone back to life
as much as I love Kathryn Hahn it would be anti-climatic if the big bad was just her and no one else so must be some one else
They might be setting up mephisto for Dr. Strange next year.
John M
She definitely appears to be strong (probably even stronger than in the comics), but I don’t see her as the primary villain. To me, it felt almost like Agatha was purposely sent in the Hex. She just suddenly appears on Wanda’s doorstep changing into a disguise. Someone is still controlling the bigger picture.
Longway
Girls do get it done
Dr. Bobcat
Someone else purely because I don't know her motive yet lol
JSounds
I think there might be a bigger bad, but I don't think we'll meet them till Doctor Strange
There is literally no way I could see it just being her doing this, while she seems manipulative she doesn't seem this powerful to fuel Wanda's powers to this extent
Agnes is working with either Mephisto, Nightmare or Chthon who is the author of the darkhold
The Air Nation
I really do think they are hinting at mefesto being the bigger bad this season
