At least for now, I think only Jordan having the power provides the best story opportunities. I think if they both have powers, there won't be enough difference between the two characters.

My theory is Jordan isn't their child he wormed his way into the family's memories or was placed there and is absorbing Johnathan's powers. So for now only Jordan will have powers.

I think the boys will have subsets of Clark's powers. Jordan might get the special eyes, invulnerability, and super hearing, whereas Jonathan might get enhanced strength and speed.

I don't think they are in the prime earth, the proposal to Lois was different to the one we saw. No signs of Kara and they said Superman had to be there for the world which be odd since there are plenty of heroes out there. I think this is an alternative earth with the same Lois and Clark. Explains all the differences and we saw on Crisis that Clark and Lois can be the same on different Earths.

Now that I’ve thought about it, I think it’d be cool if only one of the boys had powers and the other was really athletic. This could allow them to do a version of the book “Super Sons”, which I really dug, without having to introduce Bruce Or Damian Wayne.

Lex found a way to put his own clone into Lois womb (probably when he was helping to recreate the universe) and not only is Jonathan a planted baby, he is going to become "Captain Luthor" who then time travels back to kill his father, Superman. How's that for tin foil hat theory!

I really think both should have powers because they are both half human half kryptonian. So just like super boy they have some but not all because of their human side.

Great show! I fully believe both of them have powers. I think Jordan totally takes after Clark and Jonathan takes after Lois. It will be very interesting to see how their powers develop.

Tin foil hat theory (yes, already): I think this somehow might be Lex' doing (during Crisis) with either splitting the original child in to a twin or creating an extra child to create some friction in the Super-family

I think both boys will have limited powers. Jordan we've seen has heat vision so I am going to guess that Jon will have ice breath but not the heat vision or one will have super speed while the other will have super strength. They might also go the Superboy route and not have either of them be able to fly.

Both but split. Also, the actor playing Captain Luthor is the same guy in "Iron Man" who was the guy that kidnapped Tony and wanted him to build him a Jericho missile. He's been in a ton of stuff but I just saw a reaction of Iron Man just recently so that's most in my mind. He also had a recurring role on "Warehouse 13." I recognize his voice.

Both, but limited, since they are only half Kryptonian. Maybe something like their powers only work in the daytime in the sun, and they can't charge up to use their powers at night like their father can.

I really like the idea that just one of them has powers.

I kinda want them to both get powers but Jordan turn evil and becomes Superboy Prime which would make the dynamic and emotional weight of the show would be interesting. And they are all from earth prime now so that could be how superboy Prime could come into it

I think Jon was just shown to be good at football from a young age and they thought it was powers. He most likely doesn’t have powers at all right now it’s just athleticism.

I think both son will have powers but limited since both are half kryptonian and like superboy in young justice they might not be able to go full kryptonian.

I like one of them having powers and i hope they keep the brothers relationship where even though john doesn't have them, he still supports jordan no matter what.

It is difficult to speculate about their powers. Connor has limited powers in young justice (tv show), but in comics he was starting to get all of the powers as Clark, and he was shown fully grown with power levels equal to Clark + few extra powers. Jon Kent was stated by Batman to become even stronger than Clark at Clarks' most powerfull days due to his hybrid DNA. But in terms of drama and story, having different powers is more interesting.

There are several powers that Superman has gotten in the comics but never showed in live action, like telepathy. It would be interesting if maybe the jock son had a power like that.

I say both will get powers but they are limited like conner in young justice I think near the end of the season we will see jonathan’s powers activate

I'd kind of like it if only Jordan has powers and that they are weaker versions of Supermans since he's only half Kryptonian. I think they could do a lot story wise with the confident brother with no powers helping his super powered brother deal with having powers and gaining confidence.

Wasn’t it Jon that threw the toy in the house? Maybe Jon has the physical powers like strength and speed and Jordan has the special abilities like super breathe, hearing, etc

Unless I'm mistaken, Jordan was the only one who came in physical contact with Clark's ship. That could be the reason why his manifested now. But I do believe they both have powers.

I think Jordan should get more emotional powers like Heat Vision and Strength and Johnathan should get Super Speed and Flight because he’s an athlete who runs.

I believe it would be interesting if one side got a half and the other got the second half of abilities. You could craft it where they have to join together to defeat certain threats. Maybe they also have an unique abilities that Superman doesn't even have.

I think Johnathan’s powers will appear overtime too, as we did see him throw that football as a child. However I feel like Jordan will 100% be more powerful.
