Spoilers ahead if you intend to Watch Fate Grand Order While they don't lay out this scenario for Saber specifically they actually do for Merlin and that's what you may be thinking of. Merlin never died and has existed in Avalon the entire time up to present day. Because of that he was never recorded into the throne of heros and thus could never be summoned by the grail in any time period when he was still alive. However he was able to be summoned in Babylonia because it existed before him.

Obviously you guys have to react to the Fate Heaven's feel movies now since they are all released now. I m sure others have said it by now but i do hope to see more fate shows make it onto the schedules eventually. Asides from heaven's feel, you Have Waver's case files to cover the time between Fate zero and Stay night . Then there is Fate/Apocrypha on netflix if you just want to watch 14 +servants duke it out in a grail war. And finally, Grand order Babylonia is worth a watch simply for the production value and it would be interesting to see you guy's reaction to Gilgamesh as he is meant to be seen-a a wise just king.

well the 2006 one was kinda weird cause it had bits from heavens feel as well. plus correct me if i'm wrong but saber is an improper servant because she doesn't come from the throne of heroes but from avalon. and that is why she can remember things from the previous war cause she is still alive in a sense rather than being a copy from the throne.

Rick was correct that each Fate Stay/Night animation is a different route in the original work in which focuses on a specific female love interest for Shiro. The orignal that came out in like 2006 was called the Fate route focusing on Saber. Unlimited Blade Works is the Rin route. The Heaven's Feel Movies are the Sakura route. Unlike a lot of other works all of them are considered canon but each one has very different focuses on every servant as well. I truely hope you guys watch all of the Heaven's Feel Movies. I just watched the 1st 2 and CANNOT express how good the are and how much I can't wait to get my hands on the 3rd. As for the exceptions Shiro was talking about it they were Shiro himself and Saber, because while they were recorded as hero's they were the only servants trying to actively undo their own legacies and remove themselves from history. That's why Archer referred to her as an improper servant.

I'd love to see it, especially now with Naruto for example being watched at the same time because of the stark difference in pacing of an older manga/anime compared to a fairly new one.

Regarding Archer's survival, you guys actually caught it, you mentioned last time that there was nothing left of Archer after Goldie's attack but that's not how servants die. All that dissipated was his cloak. In the original novel, they explained it better how he survived, here you can only presume he didn't really die because you didn't see his actual body disappear.

Always bittersweet when shows come to an end, and I've really enjoyed watching all the fate stuff for the first time, but man am I excited for the new schedule starting soon 😬 And also, as everybody has been spamming since the weekend. 'Invincible' on amazon. It's the perfect show for Blind Wave.. I'd say it's quite your tempo 😏 Would be a shame if we missed out on live reactions and polls..
