Sadly, I think Chester has been stuffed into the role of the token excessively-geeky guy. And more sadly, I feel like the ways the writers keep trying to establish his geek-cred come off as trying way too hard. Too often it's like Arrow's Curtis on a sugar-high.

While I like this poll I gotta vent. The fact that they decided to portray Cecile mental health in such a cartoonish and ridiculous way was really insulting to me. I think I get they were trying to say it's ok to talk about mental health but any point they try to make is made mute do to the way they portrayed it. As someone who has institutionalize d I felt what they did was misguided at the least and grass and manipulative at the worst

He doesn’t. That was the whole point of the MAC. He only had powers do to an accident caused by the machine he created but the MAC removed this.

No. But, if they did bring his powers back, and it turned out the black hole thing was a sub-ability of gravity manipulation, he could kinda be a suped up version of Vibe, minus the vibes. But, he’d be too OP to be anything but a big bad, let alone a side character. So, they should probably stay away from it.

I actually forgot he had powers. I believe it was in the season 6 premiere. He had some black hole shit and Cisco played " 🎵 Flash! AH-AAH! 🎵 " (which I still say was because Aaron kept mentioning it in the reactions) while Barry did that dope-ass jump into the black hole, and I remember it to be very intense. Damn, it's crazy how long ago that was when it was really only last season.

I’m hoping he won’t. I really enjoyed the season 1 dynamic with Cisco and Barry but giving the former powers in later seasons changed the dynamic. Personally I think the show desperately needs to get back in touch with its roots and give us more of Barry developing as a hero (or in this case, a hero with an up-and-coming family).

I think they will have him not use them. Because his character doesn't revolve around him having powers anymore. But him being the technology person for the team.

He doesn’t have powers the were just in 6x01 because his mind merged with the machine he created but they put him in the MAC in Star labs and they unmerged his mind with it so he doesn’t create black holes

I feel like we probably won’t because they’ve never even mentioned them again, if the show ends up going to like 15 seasons or something then we probably will
